day 3694 – adventurous

a full day of adventure touring around town that had everything from working out, stuffing our faces and climbing things. i live in vancouver, but i can’t say i’ve tried many of the famous eats in the city. both our first time at saku and i must say their chicken katsu is amazing. we walked from cambie village to olympic village and back to accumulate over seventeen thousand steps. we stopped by a cheese tart shop and ice cream places, but i held off and save my stomach for matcha at paragon. what a fun day living the life of a tourist and a much needed one because it helped get my mind off a lot of stresses as of late

day 2959 – bridge exploration

still no training allowed so i’m trying to find things that doesn’t require the use of my arm. since the weather is nice, i went out to explore the new augmented reality in olympic village. it’s pretty cool once the mobile app doesn’t glitch out. it would be nice to have more of these art installations around the city though the weather is starting to change for the fall season

day 2932 – scenic stroll

i’m super sleep deprived and exhausted after a week filled with camps and trainings, but happy it’s finally friday. loads of coffee was the only thing keeping me up. took the night off to do a scenic stroll around false creek looking for a good place to film our next thing. we found some pretty good areas but would need to avoid the crowds. i miss walking around this area when we were doing all these exploring adventures

day 2841 – dining rocks

no dining in restaurants doesn’t mean we can’t dine out, outside. found a good spot on a rock with a view to enjoy tonight’s dinner. the pairing of a spicy korean fried chicken burger and japanese matcha frappe works pretty well. i didn’t do much all morning and afternoon so it was nice to be outside getting some fresh air and logging some much needed steps

day 2781 – explora episode

tonight’s exploring episode is back at olympic village because it’s such a nice area. the views of science world, bc place and the many bridges are breathtaking. i just like how so many buildings are lit up at night and provides the much needed entertainment. this is the bridge where i took my first photos with my dslr. years later, i’m still taking photos, but with a smart phone that carries really good night mode functions

day 2775 – dora time

exploring has become a big interest of mine during the awkward covid times where masks and social distancing are always reinforced. the vancouver is a very beautiful city with a lot of places to explore. i’m on a mission to capture all the hidden gems around town, but no matter how many times i’ve been to olympic village many times, i can’t get enough of the beautiful view looking across false creek

day 2667 – downtown sailing

sunny days are hard to come by in november, so had to take advantage and get some much needed fresh air in midst of the lockdown. afternoon was spent looking in olympic village near science world and evening was spent walking venturing downtown near waterfront station. i did a couple back tucks throughout the day, but body started to give up from fatigue and hunger. i had to hold off on the eating until dinner time rolled around if i wanted any hope of making weight

day 2482 – rock message

vancouver city public tennis courts are finally reopened, but i still can’t seem to go out and do what i love doing because the weather hasn’t been cooperating lately. i’ve been urning to get out on the hardcourts and hit some tennis balls. instead, i took a walk the moment it wasn’t wet and rainy. during my stroll in one of vancouver’s biggest nature park, i encountered some random writings but not sure what the message is trying to convey

day 2472 – minion celly

my little hospitality design minion invited me over to her place for my belated birthday celebration. we had our long overdue catch up chat while enjoying our steak salad and roasted veggies. after our delicious dinner, we went out for an evening stroll while the sun set behind us. the perks of living in olympic village is the seawall is literally her backyard. i’m very thankful i was out today to take my mind off things that’s causing my stress level to rise

day 2263 – photography walk

caught up with a friend and went outside to enjoy what may be the last sunshine of this year. it was a productive yet adventurous photography walk through olympic village and mount pleasant. we stopped to take pictures of many art structures and murals. a little disappointed we didn’t get any beta5 puffs before they sold out, but earnest is nothing to be disappointed about either. taking advantage of open gym because i can afford to have a late night

day 1012 – village trek

image

woke mo up for a quick obligatory warmup workout before heading off to finish my third and final playoffs for the season. my team did well to get into the semis in a highly competitive tier. squeezing in our stroll expeditions while getting some vitamin d and making a coffee stop before we both go to our respective homes for mother’s day dinner. no sunny day is complete without our walks around town
