farewell to another year and embracing a new year with hopes of better things to come. enjoyed a show at improv theatre before partying it up late at night, or shall i say early in the morning while doing countdown with friends. chilled at a friends place, played games, munched on finger food and of course whats a party without some liquor. this is my last post of 2013, i had a great time keeping up with the posting. happy new year and stay tuned for more in 2014!!
let’s start the start off on the right foot and make 2014 the best year yet!! another year has gone by with the blink of an eye, time really does fly even when you are not having fun. 2013 was not a great year for myself in many ways, but i managed to get through the tough times and made a lot of effort to turn things around for the upcoming year. no doubt there’s a lot on my new years resolution. remember don’t waste our time, take advantage of the present, look towards the future; write our own life, create our own destiny. hopeful for 2014
beauty overlooking cypress bowl from above in the night time. stayed up on the mountain from open to 7:30pm and skied on all the runs with a mixture of both beginners and super advanced totalling at least 25 runs. slope conditions were bad in morning but improved when it started snowing after noon. today must be a good day for skiing, bumped into so many different groups of people. wonder if i will still be able to move and do exercise tomorrow
hosting annual christmas house party with the main focus on my mom’s top notch turkey stuffed with fried rice that never disappoints. this year we also prepared a lot of other delicious dishes most notably rosemary garlic steak, smoked salmon cream cheese bread, homemade mashed potatoes and cream of mushroom soup. spoiled with so much good food throughout the holiday season
unlike the typical boxing day, much of my activity did not take place early in the morning door crashing and fighting with thousands of others at malls but rather at night in a calm outdoor at stanley park. enjoyed a lovely night out eating japanese delicacy, visiting bright nights and wandering around downtown
