day 2158 – teddy bear stand

no work on monday because of long weekend means i can go to open gym and not have to worry about how late i stay out. training started productive drilling five back tucks on floor and fifteen front tucks on blue. i also did some aerials, arabians and spotted flash kicks before my knee started hurting slamming onto blue mat on btwists. i then switched to teddy bear head stand and handstand practice. i’m more concerned that my hair and ponytail is messed up after each attempt

day 2157 – civil appearance

after three weeks on vacation, and two weeks of bailing due to unforeseen circumstances, i’m making my appearance back at civil war. i was worried i wouldn’t remember how to gear up or how to skate. to be honest, my legs were gassed halfway through the ice time. living proof that there are some things you don’t forget once you learn, but there are things that will feel slow and be out of shape after a while. it’s a good feeling to be back on the ice, i’m sure my legs will have some affect tomorrow

day 2156 – shower squad

homemade wings, pizza and charcuteries board to go with tnt bought matcha popiscles for the shower squad. we we had lots of catching up to do after not having hung out for over four weeks. we ate and talked, ate some more and talked some more before playing several rounds of taboo. the night didn’t end until 1:30am because we had so much to do talk about. this was a good night and wish it would happen more often

day 2155 – sechelting

as canada day long weekend approaches, i’m thinking back to the easter long weekend when the squirtle squad went to sechelt for a couple days. we didn’t do anything out of the ordinary, but we didn’t need to because being with each other was what it was all about. i hope we’ll plan another team outing very soon because i miss these faces after not having seen them since i left for my eurotrip. there’s so many activities i’m still itching to try

day 2154 – self journal

finalizing my self journal and ready to start this weekend. i hashed out my three top goals and carefully thought out the progression actions to reach them. for the next thirteen weeks, i’ll have to be extra diligent with my game plan and disciplined with my focus. it won’t be easy and it’s not meant to be, but i’m sure it’ll be worth it once it’s all said and done. this is just scratching the surface of rebuilding my empire. i have yet to decide on a reward for when i survive and achieve my goals

day 2153 – nintendo switch

a cozy night staying in playing nintendo switch and eating sushi. just a small get together to celebrate an ex-coworker’s birthday. also a good time to catch up and digress a little on the things that’s been happening around. after i got a few things off my chest, we changed the mood with some games. i rarely get to play video games, but it’s no surprise i got creamed in every battle. we had good laughs all around and that’s all it matters

day 2152 – softball sunset

i was afraid i forgot how to play softball after not having played for five consecutive weeks. my first test came early in the game when a pop up came in my direction in the bottom of the first inning. perhaps i was feeling anxious; i swung at the first pitch in my first at bat. after i got the first one out of the way, i settled down and took a few pitches until i saw one i liked. i connected in my next two at bats with two solid base hits and rbi
