day 1894 – gym dates

keeping the gym going on through the thanksgiving long weekend. working mainly on my upper body push pull exercises. taken on a challenge with my friends to to get swole and make gains in the next ninety days. i’m pretty set on my goal to cut weight, improve body composition and make those abs more visible. this will be a big test of determination, but i can’t allow any limitations make me lose sight of any of my goals

day 1531 – stat work

not much of a thanksgiving to celebrate since my parents are back in hong kong and my hand is in much agony. instead of spending time alone in my four walled bedroom, i opted to go to the office to get some work done. there was so much work on my plate to get done but none of my coworkers wanted to see me at the office knowing i’m in a bad state. my hand was so discoloured and swollen i couldn’t even recognize my own hand. the driving is quite dangerous when i have to forgo signaling since my dominant hand isn’t my driving hand

day 1167 – thankful

wrapping up the long weekend with a relaxing day at richmond designer outlet. i’m very thankful to be able to surround myself with supportive people that’s been with me through my highs and lows. the support and guidance i received has gotten me farther than i could’ve imagined; the reason i can continue to live out and chase my dreams. i’m always a willing giver to those who saw me fail but never gave up; i didn’t give up because you didn’t give up on me. i’m not perfect, i’m a limited edition. i’ll continue to work my way towards being the best that i can be. it’s been an enjoyable long weekend with a lot of mo time, and now it’s time to work hard and chase the big dreams that awaits

day 1165 – diy sushi

our thanksgiving longweekend started off adventurous. besides my coaching duties, much of our day was spent venturing at tsawwassen mills, shopping and trying to be iron chefs. did my share of window shopping at the new outlet in the morning; the lineup and hype hasn’t decreased one bit. night time was spent in the kitchen with our best attempt to make sushi. our final product looked oddly shaped and very unproportional, but it tasted a lot better than it looked

day 804 – numbers matter

based on the numbers and the green bars all around, i would say thanksgiving monday was a very successful day. it was a slow start to the day being wet and rainy, but still logged a lot of activity before the day’s end. it’s a good thing i forced myself to get off my ass, otherwise i would feel like it was a pretty crappy and unfulfilling weekend no thanks to too much eating and not enough exercise

day 803 – lift them

couldn’t get through my conscience without hitting the gym after a horrible eating day. just pigged out terribly bad past two days i feel like crap. no more thanksgiving pigging out for me, eating is so overrated. the horrible combination of bad eating and no exercise makes it so tough to get back into the thick of training, and really showed for it at the gym today. i sure didn’t make the numbers today and that’s a warning i must step it up

day 801 – vintage

vintage coca cola bottles up for grab after today’s thanksgiving lunch potluck. i have been pretty good at staying away from carbonated pop over the past couple months. i am guilty of having one today because i couldn’t resist the vintage bottles, but let’s get back to none for the next little while. thanksgiving potluck at an appropriate time to end off what felt like a very long week. one that hasn’t allowed for much sleep, making me a super weary and tired soul, but heck i really don’t sleep much anyways and definitely not the prescribed healthy amount. this long weekend comes timely and i will designate some time to make up for the lack of sleep
