caught a sale and bought a new pair of ultraboost that i wouldn’t have otherwise bought at regular price. i’ve looked into footwear options ever since my foot problem caused me to be out for eight weeks. my current ultraboost is considerably older and is probably exhausted its lifespan. i haven’t bought something for myself in a long time so consider this a reward and motivation to continue running

i have been eyeing these competition zeus plates for many months and finally took the plunge over the weekend. they had a kiosk at the meet and i couldn’t resist the temptation any longer. i took home a set of the plates used in the warmup area. i’m so stoked to have these colourful plates my studio and can’t wait to use them. after dropping almost a grand on the set, i shouldn’t be spending anymore money for quite some time. until i’m good enough to level up and get some blue plates

i’ve wanted a hypervolt for years, but i made the decision to get a vyper and didn’t make any sense to spend another five dollar on a massage gun. i made the splurge on a hypervolt because i saw a sale and it was too hard to pass up. i haven’t fully decided if i’ll keep it yet, but if i do, maybe i’ll consider it an early birthday present for myself. it’s definitely walks the fine line of wants and needs. i better work hard and make some big bucks in the near future

ordered my new pixel back in november and excited to be picking it up from the fedex. the new pixel 5 isn’t considered a huge upgrade to my current pixel 3, but i was really looking forward to it for specific functions. this upgrade would give me much needed battery life and allow me to take more videos during my training sessions without having to worry about removing clips on a daily basis. i spent much of my afternoon setting it up and personalizing it to perfection

first a heater to protect me from the cold, and now it’s a bluetooth speaker to upgrade my growing garage gym. i saw this party tower on sale at canadian tire and decided to pick it up immediately. now i no longer have to play music off my phone while i workout and record. my next workout will have an improved experience whenever my back decides to let me exercise and function properly

super excited that my limited edition teal vessi came through my front door. i bought the black slip ons, but the moment these became available, i called in to do an exchange. good thing i made the call first thing in the morning because some sizes were gone within the hour. i wore them inside my house all day and couldn’t wait to debut it outside. if the other limited edition comes back in stock, i may make another impulse order

black friday isn’t for another two weeks, but my front door certainly looked like it came early. it was a deal too good to pass up so me and three friends took advantage of the vessi black friday sale and ordered ourselves some waterproof footwear. this is a good chance to recycle some of the old shoes and make space for the new ones. it really comes in handy because it’ll likely rain from here on until march

a few recent purchases arrived at my doorstep including the tablet keyboard dock, wireless charger, bluetooth scale, monitor adapters, sportchek equipment and reebok apparel. i also impulsively ordered an xbox controller for gaming purposes. having amazon prime could be a dangerous thing for me; i need to consider slowing down some of these impulsive buys

after my friend’s four hours of hard work, my new rig is ready for usage. i cleared up desk and moved things aside to give this new rig a home. i got carried away with the setup, i even skipped open gym training which i do feel bad about. i still need to install some drivers, programs, and some periphals to make this fully functional piece. this would be my second desktop after four laptops. i’m so excited to be using it to play games and do some test renders. i’m amazed with how spiffy it looks and ready see how much one thousand eight hundred dollars can do for me

got into my office this morning to see a package on my desk as large as my desk. this package was ordered back on boxing day when i decided the need to splurge and treat myself to a new jacket. one jacket turned into two jackets and sweatpants because i simply couldn’t turn down such a good deal. i was really happy with how they fit and not comfy the sweatpants were. i’ll enjoy it to the max before the credit card bill comes

boxing day made some damage to my wallet. i went all out this year after saying there’s nothing i needed to buy. i bought a computer monitor from bestbuy, a cardigan from lululemon, jackets from bench, shirts and shoes from reebok and some board games from wallet. all of which were discounted, but still adds up to a pretty significant number. i sure hope my paycheck covers for this sudden splurge. i also did a declutter of my wardrobe to make room for my new clothes and justify that i need to update some things

the first of five package to arrive is my newest google toy. during my recovery phase, i’ve got nothing better to do but to invest in online shopping. i’ve already missed my original targeted date in returning. the recovery progress is slowed and sometimes nonexistent. i’ve received four or five different diagnosis without a verdict. i can’t lie, but i’ve started to lose hope that even after resuming my activities, i will not do things nearly as good. part of me wonders if my ride is over and i’ll have to give up certain things that i really like

i’m pretty satisfied with the clothes i received from boxing week shopping. my wardrobe’s latest addition includes a couple new sweatshirts, a hoodie, a puffy jacket, a windbreaker, and this jersey jacket. though i like it, i’m not sure if i should size down for a better fit or keep this it baggier for more comfort. i think i’ve put the only two maroon pieces i own on my body

as i’m researching for europe trip, i realize i’m going to a place where the best pastries and macarons exists. i’ve already got a full list of attractions to hit up. on top of the flight, there’s also lots of planning and coordination needed for trains, airbnb, food, and shopping amongst others. it’s not going to be a cheap trip for sure, but it’s something on my bucket list for a long, long time. i better start saving up for this big trip now

i was convinced to buy the gold medal card in a heartbeat after seeing the deal steve nash had offered. it’s the season my skiing set and boarding gear comes out of its long hibernation. i’d like to hit the mountains a few times this winter season but i’ll see how packed my schedule comes out to be. it’s one of my many recreations that shall always be a part of my winter tradition

my black friday shopping arrived at my work today. first time in my life i’m using a phone not made by sony. it was a big decision to part ways, but not a hard choice. the pixel 3 stood out from the rest, though the cost also stood out amongst it’s competitors. i told myself i wouldn’t use it before my case and tempered glass arrives. i did well not to unbox it and fidget with it during work

this is a product of online shopping done last week. the bundle comes from reebok and includes a convertible duffel, hoodie and socks. i haven’t splurged on myself for a long time so i’ll consider it a birthday present that i deserved. i love my sports and can never get enough of looking at athletic gear. initial glance, i like my two-in-one duffel and styling hoodie but the socks seem a little on the thin side

bonding time with teammates of bubble tea gobblers and getting ready to play some volleyball. this time we faired a lot better and won two out of three games. although i don’t think it was wise to play with my ailing thumb but it’s hard to change a set stubborn mind. there was only bumps and spikes from me but no sets. between work and play, i had some down time at richmond centre and splurged on a pair of sweatpants and another hoodie. at least it’s something i have been eyeing for over a month
