day 2135 – champs elysees

today was dedicated shopping day walking down both rue du rivoli and champs elysees. i didn’t buy any designer handbags but i did buy a pair of shoes and some t-shirts. i’m so glad the weather cooperated today since it was all outdoor walking. i guess i shouldn’t be buying much since this trip itself is already costing quite a bit. also, the longer i’ve been away and the more frustrated i am with how some things are dealt with. i’d cut the trip short if i had that option

day 2096 – cardiac pulmonary resuscitation

even though my current license doesn’t expire until next year, i decided to join in on a full day first aid course at richmond martial arts. i overslept and woke up late for the course, but good thing i only missed the introductions. not a lot changed since my previous first aid workshop and swimming lifeguarding courses, but that’s not to say there isn’t. it’s good to stay on top of these courses because there’s a few surprising changes to the cpr procedures. i was too drained to trick tonight, but i did manage to do some shopping at sportchek

day 1929 – bugis market

first full day in singapore and we were greeted by a thunderstorm on our way to the hotel. so far, we’ve seen a variety of weather from thunderstorms, pouring rain, and scorching heat. we touched down on bugis market on our first night, a district famous for its street foods and street vendors. we walked through the crowded blocks where things were decently priced. i went home having bought a few pieces of clothing for work

day 1817 – furniture shopping

i lost track of how many times i pressed the snooze button, but i slept in until my poor body was ready to make any type of movement. my lazy day off was mostly spent with my parents shopping for both furniture and groceries. we came to a decision and laid down three and a half grand for a set of leather sofa. i really could have played another hockey game, but realistically i need to be a sloth so my legs could rest. it’s nice to be able to help my parents out; something i miss doing for my parents

day 1809 – home decor

after hearing their countless trips to furniture stores all over lower mainland, glad my parents settled on a dining table they actually liked. they’re picky with how it looks and how it matches our house. i’d like to say i played a small role in the selection process. it matches the new kitchen cabinets we installed last year. the home improvement just keeps on coming; i wonder what is next on my parent’s list

day 1704 – mills shopping

i haven’t had time to go out and shop in ages and today i made up for the lack of new clothing. i went to tsawwassen mills to catch some easter deals; spent over three hundred bucks and bought a total of nine tops, two bottoms, and three pairs of shoes. it’s the only time i’ll be able to go shopping because of the rare day off. i went through months and months of not buying things for myself so it was much needed splurging. couldn’t find the new gym shoes i wanted but still satisfied having gotten roshes. i still wanted to keep shopping if the outlet wasn’t about the close

day 1589 – ornamentation

holiday season feels immediately bolstered when i came home to a decorated christmas tree and lots of lighting. annual house decorations are up in keeping in line with the family prerequisites. keep in mind there’s less than twenty sleeps before christmas day. it got busy all around the same time almost lost track of time passing. got to get started on the christmas gift shopping. started planning a little late this year, but december parties are beginning to roll in
