day 2189 – fainty

been a while since i had it so bad. so bad that i left work early and took a nap in my car before i knew i was in condition to be behind the wheel. the fact that i nearly fainted was the reason i skipped out on flipping today and headed home. i was pretty sad but it left me with no choice but to crawl into bed. i hope to feel better tomorrow because i still got work to do, workout to crush and softball to play

day 1821 – vitasoy

i didn’t understand why my body feels soreness like a post deadlift day even though i hadn’t. i guess that on ice collision was pretty hard and gave my backside a hard jolt. i decided taking a day off bootcamp would probably set me up for a more productive friday flip session. instead, my colleagues and i went to seven twenty sweets for a liquid nitrogen run. one way to beat the heat was to try the limited time offer vitasoy and vita malt

day 1812 – boardroom talks

i’ve been really good at this poker face game and not let other departments’ ignorance get to me and my team. several chains of emails came my way that almost triggered me to lose my cool today and almost broke my streak. usually my manager would ask me if i’m okay and i’ll say yes ninety eight percent of the time. the fact i didn’t say okay when he asked today was enough for him to notice something was up. i had a lengthy chat with him and together we had an approach. i left the room a bit less angered having let out some. this dampened my mood and i skipped all forms of exercises entirely

day 1723 – knee down

one knee down and only one working knee left to hobble on. i felt like a genius laying all out to make a beautiful play at handball, but my body isn’t feeling so genius after the adrenaline died down. it’s probably the right decision to skip out on dodgeball when i can’t fully weight bear on that leg. as much as i want to play, i shouldn’t take that risk. what i really need is my physicians but one is on vacation and the other is overtly busy. i’ll manage myself with some home remedies

day 1651 – amoxicillin

the toothache got so unbearable it ruined my mood for any kind of gym time and i ended up at the dentist office. the antibiotics was meant to be a temporary fix for some kind of infection and if it doesn’t get better, it has to be reopened. guess i’ll look forward to tomorrow to makeup my heavy leg day. this better not persist and make me miss another workout day cause i’m already really upset to have postponed it on back to back days. the upside is this is another forced rest day which also forces me to sleep early 

day 1323 – class 

it’s hard to get back into it after skipping two weeks in a row. i had no motivation to work on this but the final project deadline is fast approaching. now it’s time to play catch up and make up for the missed work. i went to class and treated it like a work session and had good productivity. lots of work to be done before presentation day, but i at least i’m one step closer to getting back into the groove

day 1309 – sanctuary

today was a horrible day that i just want to forget about. i made it to work but didn’t make it to school. stepping foot into the place that has been my sanctuary ever since i was a member. i can’t deny not having worked out for ten plus days has killed me. lifting has been a huge part of my routine; the lifestyle that i learned i couldn’t live without. i can always count on it to cool my steam and calm my nerves. it was all good until i received calls that made me break down a second time
