day 1950 – gold medal card

i was convinced to buy the gold medal card in a heartbeat after seeing the deal steve nash had offered. it’s the season my skiing set and boarding gear comes out of its long hibernation. i’d like to hit the mountains a few times this winter season but i’ll see how packed my schedule comes out to be. it’s one of my many recreations that shall always be a part of my winter tradition

day 1840 – delayed remuneration

consider this a much delayed amendment after i started assuming a different title to stick handle for the tech team. for the better part of the past year, i’ve run the team known as tech-no-logic. i can’t believe this took so much grief to obtain on paper. it was just unfortunate a few people had to get in the way of this process. even though everything is made official and signed in black and white, it doesn’t mean much if the process doesn’t change like how it was promised

day 1714 – twinning prisoners

my eye bags are extra big on this monday morning after not having fallen asleep until 2am. because i wasn’t finished my planning, my brain was still wired with all sorts of numbers spinning around and around. dressed to twin with my fellow monkey prisoner trying to get through the afternoon without coffee. fortunately i didn’t have to tutor today so i went for a good lift after work; testing out a new regime way different than what i am used to and hoping it’s something i could adopt

day 626 – low key

basically treated today as rest day because i was instructed that i shouldn’t over exert myself the day before. i slept in and sat around doing nothing and did all things considered unimportant, which i normally wouldn’t get a chance to do. at least i got eight hours of sleep in and that felt like heaven. still had to teach this afternoon but kept my exertion to a minimal. staying low key and trying my best to stay out of trouble is a pretty tall task for me.
