day 1335 – phoebe and friends

maximizing my time at rdl doubling up in tier two for both time slots. phoebe and friends is a fun them to sub for. sour catch getting some time in tier two so we can focus more on our play without worrying about getting pelted by fastballs. i’ve been playing with a little out of focus the past few weeks; got to step it up as playoffs is closing in. gyming and dodging with a stiff neck and shoulders is not desirable

day 1333 – saturday off

so this is what a saturday off feels like – no 7am alarm, doing my research, getting myself caught up with planning before an active stretching session. moving was difficult since i’m ultra sore from whatever i pushed my body to do yesterday, but i’ll take the soreness. hitting the spot with some ramen and some quality time with mo. i’m going to enjoy all twenty four hours of this because it’ll be a while before i can say that again 

day 1316 – rest and roll

took a full day off work and school to stay home and rest because my poor body is overstressed from all the strenuous events and travels. of course i should have dragged my butt into the clinic to get fixed because i can feel my kneecap not being in its place. being me, i once again postponed my physio appointment and instead stayed home to roll out some muscle tightness

day 1199 – coaching team

the two grandmasters and the coaching team at yet another grandmaster yoon sport poomsae seminar. it’s great opportunity to pick his brain from his wealth of knowledge; no wonder he’s one of the best coach in california state. a good poomsae refresher for me but a bad headache kept my home in the evening, probably from dehydration or something. i feel fatigued and much discomfort so all i can do is lie down and roll out on my pvc

day 1192 – fizz see oh

getting my maintenance work in for my beat up body so i can continue to beat up my body. i like to be active and i will continue to be for as long as i can. physio did mention he was very pleased with how well i held up for as long as i have been away. it’s also nice to hear from others that they’ve noticed my improvement and acknowledge what i can do; that’s a compliment i’ll gladly take. i’m here because you inspired and challenged me to be, but i’ll never be satisfied with myself because i know i can always be better

day 1175 – homeworking

my legs and back are not sore but very fatigued from yesterday’s activities, good thing i was kept busy at my desk all day. spent most of my day catching up and finishing all my assignments. i was under a little stress because there were several undone and it took me long enough to finish a thirty one page assignment. i better get working on that term project cause it’s going to take a lot more than that thirty one page assignment. also better get ready to stock up on coffee

day 1127 – post rolling

wrapping up august with a satisfying workout and some intense rolling. the month has flown by so fast and today’s weather tells me summer season won’t last. reflecting on the month, i have made plenty of progress both physically and mentally, and in turn grown as a person. i have a lot to be thankful for, those who didn’t give up on me. i found that if i put my mind to something, i surprise myself and don’t always lose to my own expectations. the self realizations doesn’t end here, it’s only the beginning. stay tuned for the months to come on my journey to finding myself
