day 2410 – anniversary dimsum

my parents have gone through many anniversaries, but not one is less important than the others. it’s always good to celebrate these events as a family because it wouldn’t exist without any one of us. the celebration was good but beyond that, life is a little grim. not only are both my ankle messed up or sprained, both my knee are banged up from a tumble, both my wrist are in pain and my right shoulder is still recovering

day 2051 – setup

i think i need to take it easy for a while to heal up all my injured body parts. i need find things to work on that doesn’t require punching on take offs or hard landings. at this rate it will be so difficult for my ankles and wrist to recover. i’m glad that both my winter hockey seasons are over with and have a couple weeks before my spring season sports start up. for the time being, it’s just dodgeball. this is also the time to really gear down and eat properly, something that’s been going really bad

day 1892 – handed to me

my hand and whole left side has really taken a fair share of beating the past year. first the broken thumb, then the torn supraspinatus tendon, plus the bruised and unknown status of my wrist and now smacked my once broken thumb. it’s frustrating as ever to never have proper moving body to work with. i really could use some full body bubble wrap for protection. tomorrow is the one year mark since suffering a devastating broken thumb, a memory i will likely never forget
