day 2500 – hoarders

looking ahead to when i get my hands on one of the highest sought after commodities of covid – bumper plates. basically all fitness equipment has been out of stock since the very beginning. all fitness stores are severely depleted because everyone is hoarding. i can’t wait to have my own women’s olympic barbell and a set of bumper plates in my garage gym. a nice set of equipment to suit my needs will be expensive, but it’ll be an investment that will have great returns in years to come

day 2469 – visualization

i wasted no time the moment training squad decided to build our own squat rack. i quickly whipped up a sketchup model of how our next diy project will look like and how much material we need to obtain. i take a lot of pride in being able to do mock ups and visualization. my passion for modelling seeps through; it shows the type of attachment i have for the skillset i’ve developed through my work

day 1855 – vignette

i don’t enjoy the dust-filled environment, but it’s kind of necessary with expanded responsibilities. increased plant visits as of late to check up on both tradeshow booth and vignette casegoods. i can’t allow for any mistakes because the deliverables and success of the tradeshows rests on me. every time i go into the shop, the plant guys give me strange looks. they’ll have to get used to the fact that a fresh faced girl is patrolling their territory

day 625 – cactus coal harbour

looking back at the grand opening trades night of cactus club coal harbor. thinking bakc and remembering how frustrating the work was but also realizing how rewarding it is to be a part of something so grand. since its grand opening, i have been back to this location three times. the food is an excuse to go eat there, but more importantly is the memories and signifiances this place holds
