day 1396 – start low

lightening up and still feel difficulty with five sets doesn’t bode well for my psyche. four weeks of disruption from my workout program and all my lifts suffers a tremendous drop. everything must stay within warmup range until i can prove my that recovery is at 50%. i’m trying to stay patient but i’m not very patient at this and it sucks the life out of me until i am fully back. i’m waiting on everything that i have little control over

day 1324 – section three hundred 

it was nice to switch from work and school stuff to get out a little. saw so many dodgeballers at rogers arena also catching the canucks and stars game. even though the canucks lost, we had scoring chances and late period excitements. i have enjoyed going to the handful of games this season; the goal is to be a season ticket holder down the road

day 1321 – exec lineup

execs delivering announcements before commencing with week seven play. even though it’s spring break for schools, dodgeball doesn’t stop. i cannot imagine how fast the season has gone by and pubnight is this weekend. it was fun tonight running between the courts of tier 1 and tier 3. i kept my warmup sweater on and refused to take off no matter how hot and sweaty to avoid any explanations

day 1271 – hamberite reunite

doing an lunch hotpot and gaming get together with a few hamber buddies. i haven’t had the opportunity to chill with friends since i’ve had a hectic schedule. spent several hours catching up and gaming before i had to head out for skating and then a pregame warmup. i brought my favourites to the hotpot: fish tofu along with some fish balls, enoki and shirataki, but who shows up to a hotpot with carrot and celery sticks??

day 1163 – canucks game

stopping by the pint for a burger before taking this doofus to his first ever canucks game and it was a great night. it’s been a while since i last watched one live; we’re catching the last of the preseason with a full lineup and they didn’t disappoint. wearing daniel sedin jersey tonight but i am still looking to get my customized jersey one day. five hours after eating, my stomach is still trying to digest that burger. it better be digested before the puck drop of my own hockey game

day 1109 – diamond two

the warmup for my softball playoff game was walking across the beautiful but neverending mowed grass. it was so hot under direct sunlight, but some would say it’s perfect weather to play ball. i started the season batting ninth, kept moving up as the games went on and today found myself third in the batting order. the season didn’t end in glorified fashion, but it was the team effort that counted. i played hard even when we were trailing, striking the ball three solid times along with a walk. i guess an 8am game has a lot to do with how sleepy i am. i’ll pass out early and get my stuff done tomorrow morning instead

day 1035 – all knotted

everything on my legs are all knotted up and a bruised and tender knee from taking an ego damaging fall. this is what happens when i don’t exercise for three weeks, then go all out at the gym and go crazy kicking bags without stretching. i guess that’s when proper warm up and cool downs come into play. i had to skip gym today because all i can do is roll them out on the deathly foam roller
