day 2244 – increased volume

the newest squat assignment is increased volume with slightly lowered weight. i went in thinking it’d be okay since the weight went down by ten, but turns out to be really tough. i pushed through and finished it but immediately had regrets. my legs were shaking even before i was done my whole workout. i tried to roll, stretch, roll some more and stretch some more to help my case. right off the bat i knew i was in trouble for tomorrow where i have a fully loaded day of flipping, dodgeball then hockey. all i can do is pray because i’m in for a rough ride tomorrow

day 2118 – more squats

part two of the kill her legs pre-vacation special workout consists of fifteen on the minute cleans and a hundred back squats. the cleans, in my opinion, were super rusty and i never felt like i got in the groove until the second last one. midway through the first set of squats, i thought there’s no way i could do all a hundred at ninety five and i was certain i needed to lower the weight if i wanted to finish. sure enough, i was damn proud of myself for having finished all with the set weight. i learned my lessons last time not to schedule any physical activities the day after. i most certainly earned my vacation through the past two workouts
