day 2448 – cambie corridor

i needed some fresh air and this district seemed like a good place to be. maybe i can relate to this place for this is the hood where i did most of my growing. this is the hood where all my highschool, physio, work, and gym used to be. i really like these new ‘heart of vancouver’ bike racks along this corridor. i felt slightly refreshed after a short walk and extra vitamin d

day 2441 – patio lounging

finished the cardio training early so i could have the rest of the day. i had to sacrifice the sprint for a ten lap jog because my shin was bothering me. the run was followed by a hundred wall kicks and some bonus pushups. it was such a nice day out so i ate my lunch out on the patio lounge chair. it was the perfect excuse to lounge around, soak in some vitamin d and sun tan while watching my latest drama episode

this getaway was meant to be everything but jam-packed and hectic. some of us just wanted to spend the afternoon relaxing on the balcony to soak in the long lost vitamin d. we laid on the balcony for hours chatting and joking our way through the day. it was good to have some team bonding time away from the rink. we definitely had a good laugh with the many jokes made and shots fired. this is a big change for me because i would never have down time like this back home. for this reason, i will take every opportunity this weekend to be the biggest sloth i can be

day 1495 – september stroll

whenever labour day weekend rolls around, i feel the need to get some the last of vitamin d before rain hits. good thing it’s still a hot day so i spent it with a stroll at fisherman’s wharf. the heat wave was strong today as with this summer season, but i’m not complaining. a change up was welcomed, maybe there’s hope that things will get better. illusion or not, my heart will soon tell it’s genuine. i’ll let it be the judge to see if it can be mended

day 1460 – hot tennis

my daily dosage of sports doesn’t stop even when tired. playing some rusty tennis in mid day heat probably isn’t the smartest choice, but it was spontaneous alternative to a bailed hike. two plus hours out in the heat hitting balls got me pretty dark. i can’t imagine a couple more times and i’ll have enough vitamin d to have some crazy tan lines. got some quiet time in the middle of the day and quality time at night because it just isn’t a sunday without having seen
