day 1608 – family feasting

annual christmas day family feast where my mom serves the most delicious turkey in the world. the meal is delicious as usual but the quality time spent together is more precious with each passing one. i’m forever thankful to be able to spend christmas day with my family each and every year and i don’t want that to change. in the end, they go the distance to give me the best they can in every possible way. in reality, they deserve better than what i can provide them. nothing is worth sacrificing my family in any way: i’ll try my hardest to keep that close to heart as a reminder. christmas, after all, is spending time with your loved ones that will always be there

day 1243 – family christmas

it’s another christmas dinner, this time a party with my family. everyone chipped in with at least a dish; mom provided the turkey with stuffing just like every year. there was also papaya soup, baked sole, avocado salad, salmon pinwheels, and ice wine. i’m blessed to have shared the many laughs on this special day with my loved ones and hope that everyone else did as well. finished off a wonderful christmas day watching a tokyo drift with the company of mo. i couldn’t ask for a better way to spend the evening of christmas day

attending my second christmas party in as many days. walking into a larger crowd only knowing one person, but didn’t feel the awkwardness because everyone was welcoming. mo and i got there just in time for the start of dinner and a counter top was already filled with food. there was a large selection to choose from including of veggies, meats and desserts to choose from. i didn’t have the stomach room to try all the dishes, but of all the dishes i tried, salmon was my favourite

one of the least pleasant way to start my day. woke up this morning with a scare and really didn’t know what to think of it, even turned to google for possibilities. hoping to outlast it as long as i can bear it, else i need to get to the bottom of this issue. today is not one of my good days for sure. i’m not in the mood to do anything tonight so i guess i’ll go and sleep it off

day 877 – christmas homecooking

enjoying a homemade dinner feast on christmas day. the food on the table shows my family has some proven chefs, and that’s not me, cause all i did was toss the salad. festive seasons like this reminds me that i am truly blessed with the people i am surrounded by, for all these people listen and help me through my many troubles and insecurities. but none more so, than those that share the tong genes, for they work tirelessly to guide me through no matter the situation. my life wouldn’t be the same without any one of you out there and tis the season to reflect and be thankful for all that i have. let it be known that each and every one of you have a place in my heart

day 798 – free turkey

a bizarre way of marketing for a physio clinic but i guess that being bizarre also catches people’s attention. this day and age, people are coming up with some of the most random ideas. not sure if i would do it just for the turkey, i wouldn’t have any use for the turkey since there’s no turkey feast this thanksgiving. having turkey is great, but i’d much rather not have turkey meals for the five days that follows

day 469 – freshii

i wasn’t able to wake up early enough to prepare my own lunch so it gave me opportunity to finally have my freshii salad bowl for lunch. chose the bistro salad, a simple turkey breast with tomato and avocado salad that i could probably make myself but somehow it tasted better. i should wake up earlier tomorrow to prepare a lunch so i can avoid spending eight dollars on a salad like such
