day 1807 – camper

i was on the fence of doing bootcamp today but got peer pressured into it since multiple coworkers tried to call me out for skipping. i didn’t want it to interfere with the new workout schedule i had planned to start. luckily i didn’t get lazy after the bootcamp; i stuck with my original plan and went to the gym after. it worked out because i spent that time at the gym while knight bridge was experiencing huge delays from a truck collision. though i didn’t completely escape from the backed up traffic of a flipped truck, i got my pulling exercises in

day 1237 – beyond chaotic

image

woke up with power outage and still went ahead and showered in the dark thinking it would come back soon, but ended up without electricity for over four hours. during those hours, i was experiencing excruciating pain that even drugs couldn’t dull. i also heard of all the chaos on the road: skytrain delays, bus stalls, tree problems, and accidents all around; i knew i had no business going to work. i had my share of delays on my way to the doctor’s, this was the mess i was caught in

the first snowfall of the vancouver winter came early this year, but the snow is better seen and felt up on the mountain. waking up and seeing snow covered ground is a good sign and a bad sign. i didn’t think i’d make it to work this morning as shadow skidded numerous times and even got stuck. snows accounts for terrible driving conditions where my odometer halved and my commute tripling in time

day 1052 – bellingham

fun times driving south of the border to shop for some closing out deals. many of the shelves were swept clean, but luckily we were still able to find some equipment that we were looking for. this day trip allowed me to back away from recent matters and just let my day naturally roll out. the drive down wasn’t too bad, but we hit friday rush hour traffic on the way back which made me really close to having a road rage outburst

day 975 – portland highways

driving south of the border on our way to portland hotel. started our drive so early just to beat out rush hour traffic. the border wait was minimal and the drive was smooth until we hit the affernoon traffic at downtown portland. when i see weaving stacked highways, i always think of portland and los angeles. getting to portland was half the battle, preparing myself for the big day tomorrow is the other half. sleeping earlier tonight would definitely do me good
