ever since my schooling days are over, taking transit has become a weird phenomenon. i did it today because i took a field trip to ubc robson square for a kwantlen graduate screening. it was probably unnecessary, but we stopped at michaels and timmys to buy a donut as a gift. glad to make it out to see the youngin finally make it through her degree and regain some freedom
a great win for the team as we strung together six solid innings to win by seven. timely defensive plays helped keep everyone in the game including my first time ever gunning out someone at home plate. spontaneity got the better part of me today as i was driving home after my game. it wasn’t great but wasn’t bad either and i wished i saved my quota for good poutinery found in downtown. i didn’t finish the whole thing but at least i can say i’ve tasted the timmy’s poutine
nine hours of my sunday spent at st john’s to take my recertification course and now i’m back to saving lives. good old timmy’s to help me get through and stay awake through the boring stuff, just like those university days. the test at the end of the course was easy peasy. i have a feeling there’s more to come in order to complete my nccp, but hopefully the next one won’t be nine hours long
having some down time amidst my busy schedule is never a bad thing. spent my alone time being productive at timmys and doing my readings before i go off to training. i am only on the first chapter of this book, but everything that’s been said totally relates to me. this might help pull me out of the many competition ruts that i stumbled upon. why have i not read this book way back to my first competition days??
needed some no. 9 and timmys to end the night cause it was a rough night with so much limitations at training. still crazy sore, i am pretty sure i squirted half a tube of bengay in desperation and yet still couldn’t do anything properly. was speeding home late at night and hit a giant racoon jay walking across the street. i know i didn’t kill it but probably severely injured it cause i saw it hobble off to the side. it all happened too fast i thought these things only happen in movies and drama
as a result of waking up late this morning, had to stop by tim hortons for a bagel as a last resort. this cream cheese pretzel bagel is definitely too unhealthy for for my liking especially when i am trying to clean it up. the guilt of having just devoured this bagel will probably haunt me for next little while
chicken salad sandwich and caffeine at timmys keeping me company as i try to be productive in between my morning and evening tkd sessions in hopes i would actually get some stuff done with the limited amount of time remaining. i have missed timmys dearly but i am happy we have reunited
