day 1740 – obyf lorraine’s backĀ

obyf lorraine’s back playoff took place today, but the outcome wasn’t what we were hoping for. we fought hard and took both series to five games, but today just wasn’t our day. we were in the middle of a stacked tier two where lots of upsets happened. the whole team was a bunch of cripples and as usual i lead the pack. nonetheless, the season good; this veteran team will likely stick around and make more runs

day 1586 – bandaid belt

each playoff we come close but just short as runner ups, but that changed today when our balls your face finally prevailed with the tier 2 bandaid belt after being eluded for three playoffs. this team is unbelievably unselfish and selfless which truly exemplifies the real meaning of what team means to me. many hard fought and tough competition in this tier, but we never unwavered. a well deserved victory for this iconic wednesday team. i’m exhausted and still slightly hungover, but i can’t be happier to be a part of this crew

day 1335 – phoebe and friends

maximizing my time at rdl doubling up in tier two for both time slots. phoebe and friends is a fun them to sub for. sour catch getting some time in tier two so we can focus more on our play without worrying about getting pelted by fastballs. i’ve been playing with a little out of focus the past few weeks; got to step it up as playoffs is closing in. gyming and dodging with a stiff neck and shoulders is not desirable

day 1303 – gstringĀ

just as we expected, we were bumped up to tier 2 after the retier. we’ll most likely stick in this tier for the remainder of the season so these are good matchups come playoffs. i was suppose to ease up for my legs’ sake but somehow ended up falling over a bench mid game. photoweek got more interesting when gstrings showed up with our lingerie. i was really bothered by some issues were brought to my attention at the end of the day and that kept my up at night

day 1228 – runner ups

no better way to settle the tier champ but having a rematch of last season’s finals. we started off the playoffs uncoordinated and making too many ill-advised moves; luckily we geared down and the teamwork started to show. i made some careless mistakes in the first half, but my catches started coming in the second half and made a pivotal catch. the team battled all the way to finals to force a game five and coming so close to defending our title. it was a great run, until next season

day 990 – rdl champ

image

i couldn’t have been more satisfied winning rdl tier 2 champs. every sour catch kid stepped up and played together down the stretch to make this happen. it was a hard earned championship where we had to fight through many tough series and come back from the loser’s bracket. it did come with a cost. i took two shots in the head in a single play – one being a ball that struck me in the collarbone area, the other being a follow through elbow in the back of my head. it was a scary moment because i don’t recall dropping down on the floor like a rock and being unresponsive for a good minute or two. regardless, i just wanted to get up and continue playing because the finals meant the world to me. i can deal with the consequences after it’s all said and done

day 859 – exec christmas

image

vdl playoffs didn’t exactly go the way i wanted. i was very disappointed with one of the mistakes i made and really wished i could take back. bottom line is i didn’t come up with that clutch play that quite possible could have rewritten the series. in the end the team that made the clutch plays deserved the win a little more. it was a great season nonetheless and we will come back stronger next season to fight for the title that’s eluded us twice. post playoffs christmas party for the execs to close out season 20. tonight, i learned that i am a terrible blind drawer, but i am okay with it as long as i can still draw with my eyes open
