day 1901 – attempt practice

a failed attempt to practice after sunday poomsae training. intended to have some extra practice after all the kids left, but didn’t get much done and ended up going off on some discussions. i think i’m going to try to set some time aside to get some extra practice in for myself; testing to see if i can get myself back into it. in need to set some goals for myself with some deadlines

day 1506 – office robot 

essentially the newest technology is for vice president to creep on and micromanage us while not physically in the office. everyone was making jokes as it was being test, but i’m sure everyone feels their privacy will be invaded once it’s roaming around the office. instead of dropping a couple grand on this creepy robot, it would be money well spent if it went towards office renovation

day 1407 – tirelessly going

been hemmed in developing this new collection. after fiddling with lighting settings and going through many partial renders and trial runs, this is the first fully rendered room i can settle with. keeping busy and overloading myself with eleven hours so there’s no idle time and nothing else but work. if i could squeeze work in every sector of my day to occupy my mind, i need not to worry i’ll be thinking, feeling or crying. the best solution i can come up with until i can no longer take it

day 1385 – elbows


second week into my rehab program with the chiropractor and it brought some good news. although i still am off limits when it comes to the gym, second week is noticeably better than the first. i no longer wake up feeling like a train hit me.  my chiropractor likes that my back progressing at his pace, but now has to check whether my elbow is fractured. after bending it and twisting it, i’m leaning towards no fracture

day 1142 – leisure reading

slowly but surely my back is able to lift a little more with a little less pain. i’ve been pushing and testing the water for the past two weeks and now i’m almost back to my normal weights. still have to stay away from some lifts and movements until my range increases, but something is better than nothing. my limbs are fatigued but very happy with what my body will allow me to do. getting a head start on the presents i received from mo. he knows my interest within sports and my preference for leisure reading. doms already hit me; i’ll sit back and enjoy my new toys while my legs continue to tear itself apart

day 819 – testing one two three

my parents came back from hong kong having brought back many clothes, gadgets, snacks and other items. underwear is a big thing because my mom truly believes hong kong underwears are the way to go. among the many things, they showed me a newer version of selfie stick and asked me to test it out, and so i did. can’t wait to use my selfie stick on my next vacation, hopefully that will be sooner rather than later. the hardest part is not deciding where to go, but finding the time to go and whom to go with

day 618 – k tape

doing some expensive tape testing over this weekend to make sure this pricey spider tech k tape works the way it should. if it’s optimal, might be the choice i take for day of the sun run and competition next month. not my best tape job since i am still relatively rusty with this delicate tape, but the more reason to do a test. must say the blue really matches well with my neon yellow shorts
