day 2490 – task list

these tasks i’ve been procrastinating won’t do itself unless i get on it. i woke up and wrote myself a to do list just to measure my productivity. i set myself a couple hours as in the afternoon as my ‘work block’ to check off some of these. by the end of the work block, i completed eight of the twelve on the list. i guess doing eight is a good start compared to the zero i’ve done leading up to today. i really wish i could reduce the procrastination for things i find more difficult or tedious

day 1758 – cad conversions

img_20200130_2158243154786680661968357.jpgit’s quite the feeling holding onto these sets of drawings knowing i’m over sixty percent through. cad conversion is almost a project on its own that i started managing last year. it’s tedious and mundane work but it must be done for the greater good. i’ve utilized much manpower to get to this point – one full time, one part time and two intern students. hoping that my new summer intern can get what’s left done and we can put this project behind us once and for all

day 1344 – laying low

the work hours crept by so slowly but at least i was trying to work. at times i still felt dizzy with headache and wished that it wasn’t only wednesday. multiple body parts are wrecked and needs more rest than i will ever give it. surprisingly able to pry myself away from the gym and even decided against dodgeball. instead i spent the evening doing some overdue tedious calculations, paperwork and catchup

day 1152 – paperwork

img_20200130_2245387066162134431817214.jpgso much papers handed in to me today and paperwork to be done for my killarney classes. i am not made for this tedious stuff and certainly under appreciated for the amount of time it takes to manage all these administrative tasks. it really bores me to look at this pile of paper but i chose to stay up late to deal with it because i just want to get it over with

day 814 – dope jerseys

it took countless emails of back and forth graphic revisions and tons of little detailed instructions before i received a proof i finally felt happy with. the process was tedious and the communication was frustrating at times, but i had to get it done for the team. another jersey to add to my ever growing collection, one that i would never complain to be too many. thankfully it was completed just in time and my teammates would be ecstatic to break them in for photoweek
