day 2046 – squirtle final

i shouldn’t be playing with two messed up ankles, but here i am trying to put on my skates. we fought our way through back into the finals so there’s little stopping me from suiting up. we played a sound defensive game throughout before breaking the game open in the second half of the game and won 4-1. we’re taking huskies to the grand finals so we’ll get to duke it out on again on sunday

day 1997 – planet ice delta

playing forward at delta for the first time this season and it paid off. i finally scored my first goal this season and it was quite the beauty. swooped into the offensive zone and one-timed a big rebound off the end boards. it was a big win for the team that put us at the top of our division; definitely worth celebrating upstairs at boomers bar and grill. i did what i had to do so i’m content going back on defense for the remainder of the season

day 1744 – espr dub

first regular game of the season for espr and we got our first win. the team put together a great six strong innings and already tied last year in the win column. i played an all around game with defensive plays at first base and getting base hits with solid hits. i did, however, make an early season error that i’m not very happy about. i was totally robbed of a base hit on what i thought was the hardest i’ve ever struck a softball, but the left fielder dove for it. everyone stayed after the game and put some work into fielding

day 1569 Рmillennial

it can’t get much more rewarding when my senior and manager congratulates me on a job well done. the meeting was a success as i presented my new collection to other department managers. putting together the design, renderings and shop drawings of my new collection was a lot of work, but what took place today is more than enough to justify. the meeting outcome was good, but it’s the process that is more important and i have my team to thank. feeling convinced i’ve earned some time to let myself loose

day 1109 – diamond two

image

the warmup for my softball playoff game was walking across the beautiful but neverending mowed grass. it was so hot under direct sunlight, but some would say it’s perfect weather to play ball. i started the season batting ninth, kept moving up as the games went on and today found myself third in the batting order. the season didn’t end in glorified fashion, but it was the team effort that counted. i played hard even when we were trailing, striking the ball three solid times along with a walk.¬†i guess an 8am game has a lot to do with how sleepy i am. i’ll pass out early and get my stuff done tomorrow morning instead

day 1105 – night ball

image

it was more of a rest day for me with the exception of a softball game on back to back nights. the whole team played a good game and got the win. i had a good game with base hits, runs batted in and some defensive plays. closing the regular season on a high note and ready for playoffs. but the high ended as i later found out mo’s grandma had an accidental fall. i hope she’s okay but still waiting for updates

day 1082 – stanley park demo

image

time to pull out that blue uniform to perform at walk with the dragon like every july. i don’t miss the 8am stanley park mornings, the dragon walk around seawall, or the several hours under either the blazing sun or pouring rain. what’s different about this year is we have more control and freedom as to how we want to structure our demo. the team performed well this year and everything ran as smoothly as it could. i can say this is one of my best demo performances to date, especially executing my triple side breaking better than all the times at rehearsal
