day 1203 – world juniors

the best of the juniors started pouring into burnaby a few days ago and will be here this week for the biggest event in vancouver since olympic 2010. the rink i usually play hockey in is now converted into four hexagonal rings. the accreditation centre and training centre was full of big shots and young stars. never knew i could shake hands with or talk to so many masters in one day

day 1053 – poomsae workshop

taekwondo saturday just got a lot better when i learned that i was invited to train with team canada poomsae coach, master rim. so stoked to be attending this poomsae workshop hosted at north shore taekwondo school. master rim delivered a very informative session; he talked a lot on taekwondo theory and ran through many drills with corrective movements. this gave me a preview of what’s to come during the workshop he will host later this summer
