day 2363 – shoulder pains

still troubled by the shoulder pain so there’ll be no apex lifting this week. i can only be hopeful that nothing is torn and that i can slowly return to my normal functions. i still hit up nash to do what i could do. a girl, who’s not a trainer at the gym, drove me crazy when she kept shouting out the same instructions even though he obviously didn’t understand the first time. she seemed to think that speaking louder would get the message across

my elbow is feeling crappy after throwing it out and decided it’s in need of attention because it isn’t in good condition for playoffs tomorrow. getting some much needed chiropractic help on the sideline at monday playoffs. i was feeling so happy when i heard my classes got cancelled today so i can stay the whole duration instead of teaching. my legs were damn right sore and really wanted to skip today’s workout but seeing tribe fitness personally at dodgeball gave me all the pressure and motivation to never skip a workout no matter what i feel. i know for a fact she wouldn’t be happy if i had skipped out, and i am glad i didn’t cause here i was banging out my deadlifts

day 598 – constantly rolling

it has been two weeks since my groin strain and there’s still so much restriction and off limit activities. i was told i am only allowed to do gentle stretches and even then sometimes it still doesn’t want to cooperate. no doubt any kicking and stretches not deemed mild are off limits and must refrain from doing them for the greater good. i need this to heal sooner rather than later because it kills me to be inactive
