day 2100 – dual birthdays

we haven’t gone out for lunch in a while but may birthdays gives us an excuse to do so. we went to steveston ora sushi for some bentos. we don’t see each other as much ever since we split buildings. the lunch hangout was brief, but it still hit the spot. and so the birthday meals begins and goes through until sunday. as expected, i may be sick of food by the end of this weekend

day 2038 – design brunch

we’re overdue for a group activity so we’re treated to a design brunch at comina. we took advantage of the nice day out and walked around steveston area and fisherman’s wharf before heading back to work. some bought plants, a few grabbed mini donuts, and many grabbed coffee during our ‘free’ time. sometimes a breath of fresh air relieves some stress and pulls us out of a things we shouldn’t be caught up with

day 1833 – spot prawns

my parent’s week-long tour of greater vancouver continues with steveston fisherman’s wharf. dinner is served with loads of fresh seafood that my parents brought home from steveston market. my family rarely chooses to eat shellfish for health reasons. for some reason my parents planned out today to be a homecooked seafood fest. i couldn’t turn down the fresh sockeye salmon and delicious spot prawns

day 1495 – september stroll

whenever labour day weekend rolls around, i feel the need to get some the last of vitamin d before rain hits. good thing it’s still a hot day so i spent it with a stroll at fisherman’s wharf. the heat wave was strong today as with this summer season, but i’m not complaining. a change up was welcomed, maybe there’s hope that things will get better. illusion or not, my heart will soon tell it’s genuine. i’ll let it be the judge to see if it can be mended

day 1013 – steveston fun

image

sharing a waffle cone on our warm yet breezy steveston walk. there were hundreds of flavours to choose from, but decided we can’t go wrong with green tea and mango flavour ice cream. after training and training some more, i┬áhad a hard earned captain america movie date at marine gateway. our first time at the new cineplex theatres; parking was a hassle but the complex was very nice and well equipped with an abundance of stores conveniently around it
