day 2096 – cardiac pulmonary resuscitation

even though my current license doesn’t expire until next year, i decided to join in on a full day first aid course at richmond martial arts. i overslept and woke up late for the course, but good thing i only missed the introductions. not a lot changed since my previous first aid workshop and swimming lifeguarding courses, but that’s not to say there isn’t. it’s good to stay on top of these courses because there’s a few surprising changes to the cpr procedures. i was too drained to trick tonight, but i did manage to do some shopping at sportchek

day 2066 – shipping order

my latest order came in, but too bad the sizing chart wasn’t very accurate. what was meant to fit up to five foot five ended up being too short for me. my search continues because my unproportionally long legs isn’t easy to shop for. maybe it’s hinting that i need to keep my spendings tab in check because i tend to buy duplicates of things that i like but don’t necessarily need

day 1501 – left or right

couldn’t decide left or right so after an hour of the dilemma, i finally made a decision to get both. it’s so difficult to find a style that fits me well. the guy at shop had a difficult time finding one that fits me well that didn’t appear short on me. that’s when i knew my legs were unproportionally long. let’s hope i can decided on one before all the padding of the old one falls off

day 967 – reebok crossfitters

image

so excited my new reebok crossfits arrived in the mail today. i tried them on immediately after getting home and they fit and feel amazing on my feet. i have a strong feeling i am going to fall in love with this once i get this into the gym. this is the first reebok shoes i bought since my early 2000s basketball shoes. now i can fully retire my first generation free run that served me so well day in day out. impulsive purchases got the better of me as with many other occasions; i definitely need to hold back for a while

day 650 – liquidation shopping

image

went lunch hour shopping today and made some impulsive buys since  sportchek for downtown location was having a store wide liquidation sale. i do believe everything that i bought was deemed useful; stocking up on k tape is definitely a necessity in my case. good thing i stopped short of buying a pair of reebok shoes i thought was really cool wouldn’t have been a good investment because it would only serve one major purpose

day 280 – team assist

image

received a stack of sportchek team assist cards and coupons in my mailbox today. time to go crazy and get my hands on some new gears with bigger discounts, who doesn’t like good deals. i hope i won’t be spending a fortune because this news does not sit well with my wallet nor my bank account
