day 858 – kt taping

my elbow is feeling crappy after throwing it out and decided it’s in need of attention because it isn’t in good condition for playoffs tomorrow. getting some much needed chiropractic help on the sideline at monday playoffs. i was feeling so happy when i heard my classes got cancelled today so i can stay the whole duration instead of teaching. my legs were damn right sore and really wanted to skip today’s workout but seeing tribe fitness personally at dodgeball gave me all the pressure and motivation to never skip a workout no matter what i feel. i know for a fact she wouldn’t be happy if i had skipped out, and i am glad i didn’t cause here i was banging out my deadlifts

day 825 – stupid train

i swear i was stuck here for ten plus minutes waiting for this long ass train to cross. quite possibly one of the most boring ten minutes of my life watching it slowly make its way from right to left but there’s nothing i could do about it. at some point i got so impatient i put my car into park and even tempted to turn off my engine. at least i had a very active and fun filled night with gym followed by a solid hour and a half of dodgeball. that’s two straight days being physically active but i am expecting to be mighty sore tomorrow

day 824 – quick start

daylight savings ended last night and that extra hour of sleep is much welcomed for a sleep deprived me, but now is when the darkness really hits us. i need to find the motivation this season when i wake up in night fall and go home in night fall. starting off november with a gym session is a step in the right direction, even though i am outright sore. even then i would call it a good start to the month and hopefully stays that way. the next couple months will be busy and important, but november is crucial for all turning points. it’s time to grind everyday out and learn a little something about accountability

day 785 – dodging difficulties

note to self to never have my physio appointment scheduled the day before dodgeball nights. not only were my legs sore, my butt and core were also just as sore which took away all my dodging abilities. maybe too much compensating for my soreness led to pulling my back which nullified all the work done by physio yesterday and put me back at square one. despite all my body problems, i still had a great time seeing all the familiar faces again and meeting new ones of course. it definitely felt weird not being in league ops for the first time in seasons, i think i kind of miss it already
