day 2216 – paused snatch complex

looking down at apex from the new warmup and stretching area. i went into the gym ready to do my third week of passed snatch complex, hoping to reach beyond green plates i couldn’t make last week. coach changed it up on me. instead of doing six times, he cut it down to three before going for singles. to my amazement, i beat my personal best by one kilogram which takes me up to forty three kilograms. i made two more attempts at forty four and almost made that if i hadn’t over-corrected it. either way, i’m happy with the new pr knowing i’m only two kilograms shy of the yellow plates. at the end of the workout, i didn’t think twice and just went for the back flip when asked to do one. this would be my first back flip on solid hard ground

day 1778 Рhandspring

it was a rough day with so much fluttering through my mind and possibly a big decision oncoming. i few messages sent my way in the morning almost made me explode. i didn’t feel like going to flip after work, but i did anyway. wasn’t too bad with my first cracked at combos and crash course on front handsprings. i was, however, terrible at back tucks and didn’t bother doing anymore than three before i called it a day. i went home feeling quite disappointed and down. it’s just one of those off days that wasn’t meant to be, but i’ll come back clean and try again next time

day 510 – second in as many

while i am at it, might as well have my two dodgeball team dinners on back to back nights. celebratory dinner of best team cheer award with wings night out. it was a fantastic season, we played really well as a team and made it deep into the playoffs just shy of a repeat tier champ. it’s sad to see a teammate leave us for school, but it was awesome playing with him and definitely will be missed. season 18 is no doubt a season to remember, be ready and hungry for season 19

day 493 – playoff time

a big day that my wednesday team has been playing hard for all season long. this season flew by so fast and now it’s time to shine at playoffs. we gave it our everything today, won many series but came up just short in the finals. came up ever so close to bandaid belt tier 2 champ, but i am so proud of my teammates and so proud to be a smd. important thing is our confidence and teamwork never wavered, we won and lost as a team. we have come so far from last season, it gets better from here
