day 721 – hibernating day

image

my mind is constantly telling me all commitments should be pushed to the side, not going out tonight anywhere because i feel the need to hibernate. i want to stay at home and take the time to catch up on so much i haven’t gotten around to completing. hope hibernating this week will cure all the troubles and tasks on my plate, set me back to normal and boost my productivity

resolution series: [six] unimportant things

image

life isn’t made equal, but when it comes to time, everyone is given the same amount to work with everyday – no more, no less. since there’s a limit, one can only choose to include so much in their daily routine and screen out all the things that aren’t deemed worthwhile. but even after screening, we must then filter and sort out which of the commitments are priorities and require more attention. there is only that much time in a day to fit everything into my daily life. as it stands, my schedule is already far beyond packed. inevitably take a lot of responsibilities than the amount of time i can afford, too much for my own good cause i haven’t learned to say no. i try not to surround myself with all the drama queens and drama kings out there because i simply don’t have the time and energy to deal with them. drama can only lead to more stress than i can already handle. i need not to be involved in other unimportant business when i haven’t gotten complete control on my life. but until then, i will put my life, my problems, my wants and needs as top priority

twenties series: [fifteen] issues

image

after living for twenty years, you ought to know that life is full of challenges similar to a game of baseball that will throw fast balls, knuckle balls and curve balls whenever you least expect it. learn that no matter how many times you fail and how hard you fall, you just have to get up off your butt and attempt again. i have learned that i am not flawless and there are many things that needs improvement, but i am willing to make the changes required to be the person i want to become. still working on getting rid of all negative vibe and set a good examples for the younger ones i take under my wings. in the end, my ultimate goal is to be a positive influence to the people around me and leave a lasting finger print on their lives in some form. i will set my mind on doing what i want to achieve and prove all those doubters who once said there are things i cannot do. remember to always keep your eye on the ball, your head in the games and everything else will take care of itself. no one is born perfect, no one will ever come close to being perfect but those who try to be who they are will be the happiest. in other words, just be who you are and everything else will take care of itself

…and that wraps up my twenties series. hope you enjoyed reading up on what my thoughts are as much as i enjoyed writing them. hope to do more series soon

day 408 – all a blur

image

everything went by like a blur and i couldn’t seem to keep up. the post concussion symptoms which i thought had subsided continues to plague me and my activities. it was not a night i would or even want to remember. some things need to be addressed immediately, knowing it is a long and tough road ahead. no matter how hard it is it has got to be done

day 270 – strong urge

image

mr sun is out, the weather is changing for the better, i want to be out on the hardcourt hitting my green balls. at the same time i know i have to hold off and set my priorities straight for much more pressing issues. no hardcourt, no other sports and minimal dodgeball until i return from nationals. i can’t afford to have any hiccups because i have already committed to compete. i can look forward to having a lot of playing time this summer after competition

day 260 – marvel

image

finally putting in a better effort in making time to catch up on social aspect and life in general. i have finally come out of my hermitting shell to see what is going on around nowadays. what have i been missing out of life?? haven’t watched a movie in theatres for quite some time. captain america was definitely up there on my priority list and it didn’t disappoint. it’s gotta be my favourite marvel so far
