day 1347 – blatt

who knew sour catch would be competing for blatt this playoff. it was a tough tier to be in and no surprise our playoff didn’t last long but maybe that’s not a bad thing because my shoulder is beyond wrecked when it doesn’t fully rotate. i do believe the team played the best we have all season; we laid it all out on the court and didn’t give an easy pass to either riceballz or pork. already looking forward to next season but first need to heal

day 1181 – fifteen for fifteen

image

safe to say it was a dominant night when my team goes undefeated and gets all fifteen wins. the schedule eased up the past two weeks but we’ll go back to reality when we play some high tier one teams again. i wasn’t planning on playing tonight but i couldn’t resist because standing on court side watching is boring. two days before i leave town, i think i am handling my nerves a bit better than usual

day 1174 – dri-fit jerseys

image

love my┬ánew silky smooth sour catch kids dri-fit jerseys that came fresh off the press and just in time for photoweek. had no idea sizes of this brand runs so much bigger, it drapes over me like a dress. i had a solid night at both my games – throwing out many and catching was on point at dodgeball, making good plays, winning some battles and having some scoring chances at hockey. my legs are ever so tired. most importantly, i had a ton of fun playing the games plus fooling around

day 1153 – trifecta

glad to report productivity was quite high today; it was a good balance of both work and exercise. a crazy way to finish the last six hours of my monday but definitely sets the tone for the week. i had everything all in one night – first was coaching, second came dodgeball and third was hockey. played an okay game with two good scoring chances and the team got a lucky overtime win. i survived off the snacks that i could fit in on my drives to and from events. i am so done for the night; i just want to pass out the minute i get home

day 1146 – season five

image

richmond dodgeball season five is officially underway. this is the closest rdl game we’ll ever have because it’s played at a vancouver school. rdl has been expanding every season since the first; this season we’re proud to have twenty eight registered teams. my first real dodgeball action after three months of healing my throwing shoulder and elbow, and the rust is so noticeable. sour catch kids as a team has a lot to work on to get our teamwork back in sync

day 936 – sour catch kids

here’s my monday team rocking those colourful shirts for photo week. a team selfie photo while we were waiting for the official photographer to get her camera ready. i quite possibly made the best catch of my entire dodgeball career with a shoe top grab. it’s been a very active day for me having done so much exercises, even my fitbit said so. i shot up all categories which explains why i am outrageously tired, sore or probably a combination of both
