day 789 – a little chatime

image

stopping for some chatime after mid autumn demo just because we are thirsty. feeling a little reminiscent of the times back at toronto nationals 2013 when we discovered chatime for the first time. there’s no shortage of good bubble tea in vancouver, but chatime does stand out from the rest and the lineup backs it up. even though this really doesn’t fit in my macro nor does my cold-like symptom appreciate it, i did it for my cravings. happy mooncake day everyone

day 484 – the trio

image

flashback to way back to the first time the three of us teamed up for nationals 2013, when we still had old school mats. those evil mats that sprained my knee the night before competition and i was competing in agony. we came together as a team in an unexpected way and i am glad we did. those were the good times and I miss the bonding, training and slacking that took place from sunrise to sunset. still waiting for the day we could compete as a team once again

day 204 – special moments

image

in midst of the hype at canada open and us open back to back weeks, here’s a throwback to our first experience of national stage at the canadian nationals 2013. a journey filled with hard work, setbacks, injuries, sweat, hate but most importantly the memories, love and team bonding time we shared. an experience so fulfilling we are set on training towards representing the pride of team bc one more time

goodtimes

late night training on christmas day is a mixture of goodtimes and epic fails. i have no idea how many times i have watched this, but it always cracks me up rewatching all the bloopers and thinking of all the times we made mistakes in front of critics and highly unsatisfiable coaches and instructors. mistakes are why trainings exist and reasons for us to keep training, keeping it real and taking it one step at a time
