day 2137 – paris local

fifth and last day in paris, and i’m turning into a local. though i didn’t get a chance to bike to the roland garros stadium, i’ll still be happy i finally got a chance to bike in europe. it was rather scary biking on the road, let alone bike along side parisian drivers that know no rules or etiquette. as the boys and i were biking, we witnessed very intense road rage that saw a man get bumped by a car and proceeded by zooming off. it was an interesting experience using the paris velib because we were scurrying to find a docking station every so often so not to get extra charges. nevertheless, we finished our route and came out alive

day 1052 – bellingham

fun times driving south of the border to shop for some closing out deals. many of the shelves were swept clean, but luckily we were still able to find some equipment that we were looking for. this day trip allowed me to back away from recent matters and just let my day naturally roll out. the drive down wasn’t too bad, but we hit friday rush hour traffic on the way back which made me really close to having a road rage outburst

day 760 – road disasters

a rainstorm overnight caused citywide chaos in just about every form. from road blocks due to fallen full grown trees, major intersections turned four way stop due to malfunctioning traffic lights, poor water drainage causing street floods to massive power outages that spread over numerous neighborhoods. as if that wasn’t bad enough, everyone seems to have forgotten how to drive properly like it was an apocalypse. seriously, stay calm and drive on or get off the road so you don’t stop the rest of the population. just because the traffic lights are malfunctioning, doesn’t mean you as a person should malfunction as well
