day 2501 – ankle breakdowns

very concerning my ankle just randomly decided to breakdown during open gym. my training session started off strong even though my energy level was low. my flash kicks felt the best it’s very been on blue. after a dozen reps, the pressure in my ankle was so much i couldn’t really weight bear anymore. the rest of the session was a drag because i couldn’t do anything and except maybe handstands. i guess the beginning was just a false sense of energy

day 2480 – self cupping

was looking into recovery remedies and remembered my dad had bought a cupping set from china years ago. pulled it out of my drawer and randomly applied some on my ailing shoulder. i had no idea what i was doing, but there’s no harm since it’s been bothering me for months and i haven’t been able to see my chiropractor or physio. part of me hopes there’s some kind of magic or miracle in this

day 1824 – current status

img_20200130_213535463764481126162429.jpgicing and heating both my shoulder and elbow while maintaining movement is the story of the day. i really didn’t know what to do and what to think of it because i hadn’t done any tests, scans or rays. i refused to go to emergency even though dozens urged me to do so. i had no mood to do anything knowing sports is off limits right now. so i just stayed at home in the heat and sweated my sorrows away

day 1663 – full body

getting a run in this morning before my teaching shift and hockey game. it wasn’t a pretty game; was in a really big collision square in the chest that gave my back a hard jolt and that winded me. being me, i didn’t miss a shift, but i’ll need to tend to it after the game. safe to say i punished my legs beyond maximum capacity so trying to all types of remedies i can think of. ending my day with a spa-like set up going through relaxation and full body massage so i can go at it again tomorrow
