day 2186 – self journal reflect

a friend of mine has recently made me buy in on decluttering. took the morning to do a clean up of my room and only got through a portion of it. i got rid of a number of things i won’t be using again and listed new or almost new items on facebook marketplace. being the end of week four, i had a bit of reflection time for my self journal. i must say i’ve done a pretty terrible job the past two weeks. i really need to do a better job of staying on track and being diligent with my choices

day 2009 – half waste

i have my own bubble tea mason jar now all because my zero waste friends have grown on me. they’re adamant on no plastic, no paper, no styrofoam with the full package of compost recycling system. i honestly don’t know if i can go that far not understanding the compost verse garbage system. even if i don’t fully convert like they did, i’ll consider myself a half waste

day 1796 – oh canada

a different canada day unlike any previous years where i had to host a taekwondo competition. this is the most laid back canada day i can remember, spent it helping my parents with some cleaning up and recycling old junk. the nagging headaches is really not going away, and making me feel uninterested even in my most favourite things. the long weekend continues with a nice dinner out at kishimoto before checking out a free concert. even though it was rainy and slightly cold, the swanguard stadium festivities and fireworks turned out well

day 917 – cleaning

i hate paperwork, and truly believe i am not meant to for this type of task. these were due for year end, but still have not yet figured out the boss’ ever changing standards. to further delay the task, i did some mild cleaning of my room and trunk today and finally cleared out some bags out of my closet. any kind of distraction is good distraction so i can continue to avoid the neverending paperwork. i guess i still found a way to be productive, but those paperwork will have to wait another day

day 748 – bottle man

this guy looks like he’s doing well hoarding those recyclable cans and bottles. wonder how he does it and if because i could learn a thing of two from him to get our competition fundraising going. if he keeps collecting at this pace, he might just break out of bankruptcy with that collection, or get him a week’s worth of mcdonalds artery clogging double cheesebugers. random thoughts and findings of the day to keep my boring monday drives to a minimal

day 460 – bottle drive

my team is going to have a busy season ahead of ourselves because we have bigger plans and more stars to reach. as my team is loading up on competitions and looking for advancement, our focus will be on more than just training. but none of this will happen if we don’t acquire the necessary funding and sponsors. collecting recyclables to fundraise for my team’s upcoming competition equipment and travel expenses
