day 2485 – rogue sponsored

one of my quarantine project was to build a squat rack that stands out from the rest of the diy’s. though it’s only about ninety percent complete, i’m really happy with how it’s turning out. it looks sick and everything i had imagined in my head. the only downfall of the rack is certain parts of the wood can chip easily simply because it’s exposed to heavy contact. it’s been a fun experience full of learning, from design to modeling to woodworking to constructing to spray painting. along the topic of fitness, i made a decision to start my bubble tea ban today because i’m starting a sixty day cut. during this time i’ll eat clean and be disciplined with my intake

day 2476 – strawberry pearls

it’s not yet the end of the week, but gave in to gongcha all because i wanted to try their new strawberry pearls. their strawberry green milk tea was decent and i enjoyed the strawberry pearls which has a zing to it. had a decent workout at the garage fulfilling the four compounds lifts plus put some extra work into the diy project. having indulged in this means i must workout harder and grind harder for the rest of the week

day 2469 – visualization

i wasted no time the moment training squad decided to build our own squat rack. i quickly whipped up a sketchup model of how our next diy project will look like and how much material we need to obtain. i take a lot of pride in being able to do mock ups and visualization. my passion for modelling seeps through; it shows the type of attachment i have for the skillset i’ve developed through my work

day 2055 – stackable boxes

finishing my stackable plyometric project on a sunny sunday afternoon. it’s great to have a dad that is capable of doing so much handyman work because he did most of the work while i just assisted in the ways that i can. now all that is left is to sand the edges and perhaps attach a thin taekwondo mat on the top to make it safer for shins. if i wanted to go one step further, i could also paint it

day 1917 – red feather

a meeting was called to discuss about red feathers and how it went down. red feathers wasn’t exactly an easy project to to work on, nor was it one that people wanted to stick their hands in. what bugs me most is one person kept sticking her nose into things and stirring the pot. there’ll always be people who choose to point fingers, but i’m hopeful there’s enough that wants to solve the problem

day 1877 – emerging leaders

running from meeting to meeting the entire day, i barely spent anytime at my own desk. the only time i’m at my desk i’m just trying to catch up on my emails. emerging leader meeting, one of the three long meetings i had throughout the day, provided some valuable insight on strategic planning. the two hour tradeshow process meeting in the afternoon was a killer and lost me brain dead halfway through. it’s great i’m contributing to these process meetings, but that takes so much out of my project time

day 1758 – cad conversions

img_20200130_2158243154786680661968357.jpgit’s quite the feeling holding onto these sets of drawings knowing i’m over sixty percent through. cad conversion is almost a project on its own that i started managing last year. it’s tedious and mundane work but it must be done for the greater good. i’ve utilized much manpower to get to this point – one full time, one part time and two intern students. hoping that my new summer intern can get what’s left done and we can put this project behind us once and for all
