day 618 – k tape

image

doing some expensive tape testing over this weekend to make sure this pricey spider tech k tape works the way it should. if it’s optimal, might be the choice i take for day of the sun run and competition next month. not my best tape job since i am still relatively rusty with this delicate tape, but the more reason to do a test. must say the blue really matches well with my neon yellow shorts

day 536 – hips don’t lie

because it has happened so many times, i now am trained to know when some things are out of alignment. i am almost certain my hip is out and it’s pretty much taken my knee with it and made my whole back seize up from compensating. at the moment, taping my knee is the only way i can make it functional. good thing my kinesiologist helped me out a bit hopefully enough to tough it out before i go into physio next

day 214 – patella

results of leaving my knees taped up for a full day through my physically active day.  it’s what i rely on to protect, secure and limit the taxing on my delicate knees so i can do what i want for the most part. i wish i could be less reliant on taping and support for the poor tracking of my knees

day 208 – tape job

that’s more than half a roll of tape used in one go. this is the amount of tape required to tape my ankle and knee to provide stabilization and continue to train for this weekend. no time to sit, rest, wait or waste time because the competition is only days away and i still feel super unprepared
