day 2096 – cardiac pulmonary resuscitation

even though my current license doesn’t expire until next year, i decided to join in on a full day first aid course at richmond martial arts. i overslept and woke up late for the course, but good thing i only missed the introductions. not a lot changed since my previous first aid workshop and swimming lifeguarding courses, but that’s not to say there isn’t. it’s good to stay on top of these courses because there’s a few surprising changes to the cpr procedures. i was too drained to trick tonight, but i did manage to do some shopping at sportchek

day 1274 – oversleeping

a big rush this morning because i snoozed my alarm and next thing i knew it was half an hour later. i zoomed into the washroom, got myself showered and out the door as fast as i could and arrived only thirteen minutes late. i had a headache the whole morning due to the abrupt awakening, but it got better in the afternoon. hump day is a good day to revisit my quote of the week as a reminder

day 468 – slow day

waking up and expecting to see chaos like the aftermath of a battlefield. a slow day with comfort food to recover after an eventful day. did some clean up to make sure my house was presentable before my brother returns home. decided to take a rare nap that was intended to be half an hour but became two and a half hours since i completely didn’t hear my alarm and ended up missing my evening meeting

as a result of waking up late this morning, had to stop by tim hortons for a bagel as a last resort. this cream cheese pretzel bagel is definitely too unhealthy for for my liking especially when i am trying to clean it up. the guilt of having just devoured this bagel will probably haunt me for next little while
