day 2028 – snatch techniques

it’s a jam packed statutory holiday that started with olympic lifting session, followed by work, then tutor and finished off coaching poomsae training. snatching with lower weights to focus on technique. i must say my snatches felt real good today, as did my shoulder. as for front squats, upped the weight for the fourth consecutive week and it felt super heavy. still felt good to have moved up and closer to bodyweight. lifting session was fun, however, when i was at work and tutor i started to feel something was coming on. towards the end of the day, i feel as if i had caught a cold

day 2025 – team squirtle

finally a group picture of the squirtle squad comes during game one of the playoffs. it was a close game one but good thing we took the win in the end. we were neck and neck for most of the game until we busted out with two unanswered goals. i detest this team because they have the dirtiest players who plays with no remorse. the guy who i almost got into a fight with last game came at me again with an outstretched arm and wanted to land an open ice hit when the puck is nowhere near. just glad we got the win against an unworthy team. the commitment was real when half the team including myself transported to play game one of fishsticks still wearing most of our gear. that’s enough activities in one day; i’m exhausted and ready to pass out

day 1411 – bone buldge

the bruising on this left foot is looking worse than hours before. i couldn’t put on skates today but that wouldn’t have mattered anyway as i’m way too sore from too much activities yesterday. maximal soreness results in minimal movements; my back ached, my calves tight, my hip flexor restricting, my foot and shin bruised and my si joint problems still persist. the soreness isn’t a big issue, it’s the persisting joint pain and abnormal bruising that worries me

day 1217 – seven to ten

crazy long day working and schooling for fourteen straight hours and hanging on with five hours of sleep. got home from class half past ten and felt too tired to even eat. it doesn’t help that i’m super stressed out about my term project due in a week on top of the final exam. i am still establishing a protocol to sleep earlier, all for my long term health benefits with the changes my schedule demands

day 681 – one of those mornings

came back to my desk in the morning and there’s a crap load of stuff left there¬†with notes and all. to further annoy and piss me off, i kept having people bug me for things they could have easily figured out if they only opened their eyes. it would be much appreciated if people would think twice before always mindlessly deloying other’s assistance. needless to say it was one of those morning which could have gone better
