day 1850 – homemade poke

a balanced meal is healthy homemade poke and fatty cream puffs and pillow cakes. poke bowls are way overpriced, so we decided against that and made our own with salmon sashimi, mango, avocado, cucumber, tomatoes, corn and edamame. my nutrition before hockey wasn’t very good today, but i usually stay on top of it and make good decisions. needed this outing with the girls after a long work week

day 1800 – canucks showdown 

saw so many familiar faces watching the canucks prospects summer showdown. there’s a few highly touted prospects i’m really excited to see and hopefully one or two of them will make the big club next year. i enjoyed the format of the event cause i got to watch them in five on five, four on four, three or three and even shootout. the carve burger was okay, but there was no nutritional value. i guess going with the poke bowl would have given me some preferred veggies

day 964 – soup

found a note and a big bowl of homemade soup on the kitchen counter courtesy of mom. i haven’t been home for meals much lately so i have been missing out on all her homecooking and healthy soups. she’s always concerned i am not eating enough and not getting nutritious meals in. i guess in a way she has all the reason to do so because in her eyes, i never seem to eat enough
