day 1561 – bandwidth 

i can’t control that some people are toxic and can’t mind their own business. no matter how i take care of my tasks, there’s always going to be somebody ready to stir the pot. my bandwidth is full with projects stacked on projects, it has no capacity to deal with bullshit. i had a long talk with manager because he obviously saw the frustration in my eyes. he is coaching me through the management side of things and mentioned that if i wasn’t an important member, they wouldn’t even bother picking on me. i’m going to continue to keep a good strong head on my shoulder and work on getting it better than ever no matter what the situation is. if people misunderstand and make ignorant assumptions, so be it

day 1274 – oversleeping

a big rush this morning because i snoozed my alarm and next thing i knew it was half an hour later. i zoomed into the washroom, got myself showered and out the door as fast as i could and arrived only thirteen minutes late. i had a headache the whole morning due to the abrupt awakening, but it got better in the afternoon. hump day is a good day to revisit my quote of the week as a reminder

day 1156 – starbucks calling

getting more work done with starbucks in my hand. productivity keeps rising – completed more graphics work, finished some logs, placed my order, downloaded my material, did my research and continued with my templates. kept myself as busy as i could; i’m two episodes behind in my drama. when the gym is calling but still off limits is a lonely feeling i’ll never get used to and never want to get used to

day 1112 – unavailing

not sure why getting out of bed was so difficult this morning but from the moment i climbed out of bed this morning, i was already feeling a little off. i started the day later than usual so everything was delayed. trying to get my work done in compressed time but the whole day has been unproductive. couldn’t get work done at home so tried mcdonalds but still not much got done. deadlines are approaching, need to get down to business or else my to do list will keep piling up

day 929 – resurrect

tomorrow i am going to get some me time to reboot both my mind and my system. i feel i need some time to regroup and make sure i’m back on track doing things i need to be doing and doing things i enjoy doing, for the right reasons. the past week or two has been lousy where i am just going through everything mindlessly like a robot but not thinking twice about what i am seeking out of it. and during this time, there’s either been a lot of emotional eating or unhealthy thoughts and choices made. i really should put things back into it’s proper routine and get back in the right frame of mind to make the best choices for myself moving forward. february is a short month, so better not waste time and get back on track as soon as i possibly can

day 820 – working overtime

deadline calls for crazy schedules with early morning, late nights, no lunch, no breaks and little sleep. the times when i am not only operating with next to no sleep, but also inadvertently bypassing meal times. three days of neverending work and uncomprising schedule can really get you. working overtime and going as fast as i possibly can in order to make a push for tight deadlines. i made my deadline tonight, good night world, i need to catch a little snooze before its morning again

rebuild in motion

i took a tumble recently, literally and figuratively, and really hit rock bottom but that doesn’t mean i am allowed to stay down forever. thought long and hard and now it’s time to take action and do it for myself. sometimes all we need is a fresh start to revive and the best way to restart is to begin with a blank piece of paper. i took it upon myself that i would wipe off all the unnecessary and negative influences and only focus on the positives that would get me to where i want to go. clear my mind of clutter, always remember to stay humble and accept criticism as more reason to work harder and find my strong. as far as i am concerned, there only one thing standing between me and my goal, and that’s will. willing myself to be accepting to change, to be confident, to be disciplined and to be happy with who i am. there’s no other time to start but now and i don’t want another opportunity to slip away, because it’s now or never. it’s time to train harder for the things i want to achieve, eat smarter to give myself a boost and make the right choices to live better and healthier for my mind and body. the key is to be disiciplined and stay that way, and only then will i feel proud to be who i am. expectations are meant to be met, not lowered. it’s never easy, but i am about to take my first step
