day 2184 – taro ball

flipping was made difficult when my right glute suddenly started cramping after some front sweep drills. training was compensated but i was determined after some lacrosse ball rolling and stretching. i still continued to do what i could and made much progress on my x-out; so much i had the courage to try one on the floor. i think it’s getting really close. we ended the night going for noodles, shaved ice dessert, pokemon raid, and a visit to wu’s. not a bad way to end a friday night

day 1941 – wanchai

one wishlist item on my hong kong trip is to ride the old school tram. i did just that today heading to wanchai from central. this district is crazy packed on any given night, let alone a saturday night. i stopped by my friend’s family burger shop but decided not to bother his dad seeing the already jam packed restaurant. instead, we ate at a small noodle house and walked around some famous strip including a school converted shopping mall

day 1366 – lingering effects

slowly getting back to normally but there’s lingering effects both physically and mentally. somehow i am still hesitant and scared to eat regular food, or maybe i’m just worried i’ll get fat again. i’m hollow and empty inside, but i persuade myself i can wait it out. it’s one of those things i’d rather endure than being hurt and be scarred time after time. it affects me more than i’d ever want to talk about it

back in town counting down the final hours of our brief vacation, but first a stop at our old faithful for some classic noodles. it was a good time off and somewhat rejuvenating, only much too short. i’ll spend the remaining hours getting ready and unclog my mind because in a few hour i’ll get back to reality and working my butt off; there’s some things i want to reset and restart

day 194 – long weekend special

pigging out at aberdeen food court in between our own training session and teaching session. tried the oreo ice cream smoothie for the first time and it tasted really good but it was so filling i didn’t even need the wonton noodles. bad news is after stuffing my face, it is time to teach poomsae training

day 59 – dinner time

a nice long dinner out with family after a tiring but satisfying saturday afternoon. making the most out of vouchers and trying this newly opened restaurant that serves taiwanese food and bubble tea. had their in house special milk tea and some rice noodles and must admit the drink was pretty delicious
