day 702 – bang

woke up this morning feeling the ill effect of yesterday, as if i had fought a month long battle. the combination of being out late and room temperature being too hot probably has much to do with not getting enough sleep and throbbing headache. i found mulitple of bruised areas on my legs but had neglected what had hit me. apparently i have an even bigger one on my butt but that’s not appropriate to go public

day 572 – monday debut

finally making my monday team season debut even though i am outright sore. my neck and back area as stiff as a board, a resultant of all that breakfalling from yesterday’s test. this condition made especially difficult to drive when i cannot shoulder check and it seizes up every time i step on the gas or brake pedal. in desperate need of a massage and hot tub stint since i cannot apply bengay

day 475 – physioterrorist

wrist took a series of unfavorable blows this past week which caused it to be pretty much next to useless. though my left hand is much weaker in comparison, it is used extensively and losing function changes all complexity. driving is made tenfold more difficult since i am a left handed driver.  a much needed check up with my physio to fix that ailing wrist and seized up leg. after some excruciating pain, i was told to stay put for next twenty four hours and do nothing beyond walking and heat pad

day 455 – vdl halloween week

it is a vdl tradition of halloween dress up week. halloween enthusiasts came dressed up with some cool costumes ideas  for vdl contest to win some unknown prizes. i don’t traditionally dress up and i had totally neglected to brainstorm of any costume ideas. i was high in spirit but low in energy and mobility as i was still mightily sore from previous gym session, someone must have forgotten the importance of protein

day 382 – filled weekend

just another day at the office as part of the obligatory demands of my job. i have had a lot of taekwondo in the past 72 hours which ultimately took up my entire weekend. i started my weekend with my usual friday night class, ended my weekend with promotion test and teaching and kukkiwon demo scattered in between. had to turn to my friend bengay to ease and help me through the weekend

day 152 – home cooking

totally exhausted with even more exercise today, my legs need its rest. so many parties and eating out lately it’s good to change it up and have a laid back dinner eating at home while watching the canucks game. too much food on my plate i couldn’t finish all of it
