day 2020 – snowed in

had the luxury to sleep in until eleven, like what most people would do on sundays. i decided to skip powerskating because i’ve lacked sleep all week not to mention stiff from two hockey games. woke up and realized it was it was snowing outside. my plans of meeting with friends had to be canceled because it of the unsafe road conditions. i even had to miss out my workout and open gym flipping. i can only imagine what it’s like up on the mountain today

day 1927 – underpacked

i would say i’m all packed up and to get on this plane but by the time i reached the departure gates, i already had a strong feeling i had severely under packed with my lackluster effort. i clearly didn’t prioritize packing and had minimal time to do so in my schedule. the good thing is i’m heading to asia so i can still buy things as i go. maybe it’s not a bad idea to have reasons to shop for things

day 1919 – laid back

a laid back thursday of just work and work. though i say laid back, it’s still a eleven hour work day for me. i was pretty brain dead by the time tutor came around and wished i could forgo that i take a nap instead. i went to tutor as usual because i felt committed and owed it to the students. today was all about math because both sisters had a math test coming up

day 1776 – refresher break

getting to work on time was really difficult today because i felt like i never slept during the night. i couldn’t fall asleep until after 2am and was woken up twenty past four. i felt like crap at work the whole day. i could’ve easily gone home early, but too much u work in my queue i couldn’t even think about taking some time off for a nap. if it wasn’t for some tylenols and this refresher, i wouldn’t have last the whole day of work plus a couple hours of teaching

day 1686 Рskate tongue 

playing for the first time with my skate tongue in and i kind of like how the skate is more snug on me. the order of putting on gear will have to be slightly altered but that’s something to get used to. not feeling great after a barely catching any sleep, but still had to push for a rushed deadline today. took a nap alongside some tylenol and even then just wasn’t quite enough to be in game shape. my reaction and timing was off, but i did play a well defensive game covering for centres and coming back for odd man rushes. tempted to take a little time off work if possible; a little rest would be nice for my current tired soul

day 1642 – baker wrap

can’t say it hasn’t been a great weekend out at the glacial baker retreat. the cabin crew at kardashians was awesome to chill and room with. it’s great to see everyone together since everyone brings something unique to the table and we collectively make so much happen. i learned that i’m much more suited for urban city than the wilderness, and that i wouldn’t survive in the woods because i can’t start a fire. through this retreat, bonds have strengthened and i definitely look forward to our next outing

day 1621 – big lifts


had an extremely late night but woke up early with a few things in mind. hitting the gym was mandatory, for today is designated for strength. the few hours of shut eye took a toll on me and took me a few hours to halt the lethargy. since i anticipated on training, i didn’t want to eat and went with the banana i stuffed down an hour ago. making my way to the gym with an empty stomach and was probably a horrible idea. i knew it was going to be a grind, but feels good to still have gotten through the heavy big lifts. with all that delay, i didn’t get any food in me until roughly half past five. need to be cautious not to be malnutritioned where all my meals are jumbled up like today
