day 2189 – fainty

been a while since i had it so bad. so bad that i left work early and took a nap in my car before i knew i was in condition to be behind the wheel. the fact that i nearly fainted was the reason i skipped out on flipping today and headed home. i was pretty sad but it left me with no choice but to crawl into bed. i hope to feel better tomorrow because i still got work to do, workout to crush and softball to play

day 1945 – nappy

no point in staying at work when my eyes wouldn’t stay open even under the influence of caffeine. from past experience, the jetlag usually hits me hardest on the second day. everyone told me to set an alarm clock, which i did. i went home intending to take a short nap, but i passed out for four hours only to notice my parents were already eating dinner. good luck trying to fall asleep tonight

day 1711 – dampened

not much happened today, both at work and at home. felt sick with a stomachache so didn’t get to watch movie as planned. i was too weak so i took a nap, woke up when my parents came home with some takeout for me, then napped a bit more. i hope this case goes away by tomorrow because i have taekwondo and two hockey games lined up and would t be able to take on that much if i was still feeling weak and ill

day 1679 – morning ice

sleep felt more like a nap when i decided to wake up extra early to join my teammates. an abbreviated version of sleep was what it was; upped my already early starts even more so to 5:30am so i can be on the ice. putting in the work for a productive full gear session with valuable take backs. needed a few more dosage of caffeine to get through both the work day and tutor. fatigued by dinner, i had planned for an early night which never happened

day 1492 – low light

change of plans and headed straight home because the low blood sugar hit me this afternoon. required a short nap and woke up feeling so so but still set on a trip to nash anyway. did not expect a whole lot so but nothing bad happened so i’d say i passed. trying to brush off the disappointments one after another, but at the end of the day i need to learn i’m living for myself and doing what’s best for me. maybe it’s good to learn to expect everything from myself and expect nothing from others

day 1360 – epcot

it’s bad when no solid food would stay down and three barf bags wasn’t enough to last the day. i was worried i wouldn’t last the day at epcot and ruin the disney experience for mo. i wanted him to go explore the park while i rest but instead, he guided me through and was patient when i needed frequent breaks. luckily after throwing up everything and taking a nap on the bench, i felt much better and had the energy to enjoy the rest of epcot. it was a tiring day that didn’t start off well, but ended happy and satisfied

day 1315 – roost

the morning wasn’t so bad as i worked through the fatigue to get my conference call done. it only hit me when the caffeine wore off and i clearly suffered from the afternoon crash. i went straight home and took a nap to make up some sleep. woke up but couldn’t work so i took some medicine, mulled around and went to sleep again. that’s what four hours of sleep will do. things just doesn’t slow down even after competition travels
