day 1300 – less sensation

it was a bad ending to a monday night aggravating my hip at dodgeball shortly after having pulled it at taekwondo. i went home the whole way not having sensation in my right leg from my hip down; not a feeling i’ve ever felt. my night has been rounds of ice, heat and patch repeat. i can’t get my mind off two things: what happens with my competition and can i play my games this week. i’m doing lots to make it go away

day 1212 – new quilt

i finally found my other blanket now that my body has succumbed to some sort of virus. hoping that by burying myself in this blanket and sleeping more today, i will be okay to do my black friday shopping in the morning. i woke up mid day not feeling any less crappy, but still hopeful that a miracle will happen overnight. despite feeling unwell and did nothing today, i received some good news and hope more is on its way

day 1157 – still tried

three days is as far as i got before i gave in to gym and taekwondo. i kept it as close to my game plan as possible, which was some form of cardio and isometric exercises. i tried super hard to keep my distance from the cage in case i do something that is off limits. it is the deadline of registration so i had to attempt some taekwondo. i didn’t get very far into training before i knew it’s a no go. i’ll still keep trying over the next week and maybe, just maybe a miracle will happen and perhaps be allowed to do a late registration
