day 2266 – nacho game day

this is the most skilled team we’ve versed so far this season. it was evident they were very seasoned as seen with their passing and chemistry. they had danglers, great passers and sharpshooters. we lost the game, but probably played one of our best team game and stayed with them the whole game. like any other wednesday, my legs were dead tired by the time i got home for another late dinner. i was happy to see all the chasiu baos waiting for me at home and devoured all of them after all that expenditure

day 2238 – team dinner

team dinner after a rough game where we got shut out and outplayed in all ways. we were beaten five times before our goalie pulled out in the second period because of a knee injury and we had to play six players instead. at that point all the referee could for us was to speed up the game by playing running time. at least we had a good dinner at myst to make up for the miserable loss

day 1330 – pregame meal

sticking with my simple pregame meal before a playoff game. my first season is officially over after tonight’s loss but i enjoyed my rookie season and is happy with the successes and improvements that came with it. scoring my first career goal was a big one for me and i only got more comfortable as the season went on. i filled the stat sheet burying three goals and adding four stars beside my name on the hard hat. i’d say it was a good rookie season for me and exceeded all my helpful teammates’ expectations. i’m really looking forward to the spring season and drop ins to see where my sophomore season will take me

day 1314 – playoff scrums

starting the monday grind with overtime at work, a workout and dodgeball before my first ever playoff hockey game. i got into more scrums and battles because playoff hockey gets rougher. i received a good centering pass but very mad i put the puck over top of the net instead of in the back of the net. i can’t stop thinking about how i didn’t capitalize; it could have been the difference maker as we lost 3-2
