day 1513 – bad handĀ

looking back i would say it was a good day, but a costly one. i caught everything that came my way, all except one; the very ball that killed my hand and changed a lot. more than five weeks after, it still affects me greatly and continues to sideline me. i’ve been seeking for someone can help fix it and put it on its recovery road. when will i be able to open a jar of peanut butter pain free

day 766 – international taekwondo day

only learned it was international taekwondo day today, so started flipping through my album of old photos for something worth noting. this was a memorable competition at portland us world open; in this instance, doing taeguek 8 for pair poomsae and leaving with gold which is followed by a silver forĀ individual. looking back to the start of my taekwondo journey, never thought i would still be kicking right now and thankful that i still am. but looking forward to everywhere i will be kicking from here on. happy international taekwondo day to all those who cares

day 625 – cactus coal harbour

image

looking back at the grand opening trades night of cactus club coal harbor. thinking bakc and remembering how frustrating the work was but also realizing how rewarding it is to be a part of something so grand. since its grand opening, i have been back to this location three times. the food is an excuse to go eat there, but more importantly is the memories and signifiances this place holds

day 553 – throwback pandas

image

first week of regular play for season 19 means exec duties even when i am sick as a dog. throwback to the hard throwing thunder panda days counting back seven seasons ago when we were fresh faces of the league. even though my panda team disbanded, it’s good to see that most of us are still involved on separate teams. to see how far i have come as a player and as an exec is quite a long trek not forgotten

day 146 – season of giving

a pleasant surprise to receive a christmas card and little gift from a good old friend i have known for years. even though we don’t see each other as regularly as before, i am so glad we continue to keep in contact. as he said, let’s keep it going and create many more memories in the new year!
