day 2358 – packed parking

just trying to get to the gym after work and the parking lot was jam packed. i normally don’t go to the is location after work since i’d be in richmond, but today was different because i worked from home. once i got into the gym finally, the whole gym was so crowded i couldn’t really do everything that i wanted before i took off. it’s a combination of rush hour and resolutioners that made this place so full and uninviting. i’ll only come to this location during off peak hours

day 2288 – traffic nightmare

a traffic nightmare at ironwood intersection after work. some coworkers decided not to wait in line and went to the riverside, others walked to the plaza for dinner. i on the other hand waited in line and was trapped for over forty minutes before i got onto number five road. instead of waiting more at knight bridge, i went straight to the gym to do an upper body workout instead

day 2136 – arc du triomphe

visiting one of my top paris attraction arc du triomphe. the intersection it stands on is crazy; twelve different routes merging into the roundabout. by now, i have grasped the concept of paris driving – drive aggressively and use all methods to get around obstructions. as i stood before the arc daringly close to the traffic, i never imagined it would tower over me like so. decided not to buy tickets to go up and that was the correct choice because the lineup to the lift is long. i think the point is to view the actual structure and not to look down on the surrounding things from the top

day 2124 – kingscross station

made it to kingscross platform in the morning to chase the harry potter train. my friends and i waited in line for over an hour before it was our turn, but that time gave us a solid game plan on what pose we’d do and how to best capture the action shots. i’m happy with how my action shot came out. platform nine and three quarters was followed by a visit to postal museum. london has been expensive in every aspect; the currency makes it incredibly hard for anything to be cheap

day 2070 – tsujiri extravaganza

i said i’d treat myself to tsujiri once i land my roundoff backtuck which i did. it’s finally my turn to try out the hyped tsujiri matcha dessert. the rumoured lineup is real and if you don’t go in the middle of the day for the opening rush, there’s no chance of getting their cakes. can’t believe there’s so much hype for this place even after a month of its grand opening. the foodies i went with got multiple cakes and drinks, but i settled with a double fromage matcha cake

day 1939 – mr. brown

had a day with my parents before heading to grandma’s place for a homecooked dinner. we spent the day shopping at apm and in the area of guan tong. i didn’t but anything in particular, except a matcha ice cream waffle cone from tsujiri. i tell myself it’s okay to indulgence a little, as long as i keep up with the walking and workout. i did, however, meet gigantic mr brown and couldn’t resist the urge to climb on him as per usual. i started a lineup of kids also wanting to sit on gigantic mr brown

day 1846 – uncle tetsu

i have no idea why my mom ended up at metrotown but it was a good coincidence. she brought home the highly sought after cheesecake along with honey madeleines from uncle tetsu. as soon as she sent me a message with a picture of the goods, i knew i was in for a treat when i get home from my hockey game. jabba da puck didn’t bring home the victory to force game three, but it was a good run for the cup. it was still a good spring season and being finalist isn’t too shabby
