day 2175 – render glitches

sketchup glitches getting in the way of updating hampton prototypes. what’s modeled isn’t what comes out in the interactive rendering. it’s not something that can’t be fixed, usually simply closing and reopening the file or removing the item and replacing it will do the job. most updates for the casual scheme are complete queued and waiting to be rendered. part of a renderer’s life cycle is clicking the render button and waiting for the crop to appear

day 1995 – ten year challenge

i was browsing around in old photo albums to complete the ten year challenge. i certainly had a good laugh when i saw the things i did and what was considered ‘in’ at that time. it wasn’t easy finding pictures from ten years ago since digital photography wasn’t as developed then. not much has changed since, just lost my glasses and baby fat and gave up the bangs that took way too long to grow out. it was a hit in hong kong back then, but i don’t know if i’d ever want bangs again

day 1560 – scaled

on my desk sits a scaled model that my dear coworkers said made them think of me. got a good laugh when coworker gave my model an upgraded splint, one that is tailored to document my hand healing progress. little things and acts of surprises like this makes my day go by smoother. there’ll be some that stick by to help during times of hardship; there’ll be those that won’t. that’s when i learn what kind of person they are what who truly cares
