day 1527 – iced knee

bounced off the floor hard when i dropped down too quickly to the floor. my chiro was on site but there was nothing he could have done for me there. there’s no taking it easy and i hate sitting out.  the damage is already done so i might as well continue playing through it; finished the night and immediately slapped an ice pack on it to stop the swelling. despite bruising up bad, it’s always a fun night playing with the girls. i am a little doubtful to be healthy for saturday night’s rivalry

day 1504 – nothing extra

one of the rare days i’m headed straight home from work because my hip and knee started causing havoc. i tried to alleviate the inflammation by icing, flossing, rolling, but nothing seemed to be the solution. i was optimistic it would get better evening so i should be good to go to the gym, but wasn’t the case. it got so bad that even with a knee brace on, all i really could do was sit in front of my desk and do some catch up paperwork

day 1258 – at the cage

my legs are sore from yesterday’s workout, but also been a little too casual with the rolling and releases lately. my left knee is pretty banged up but onwards with my program regardless; hitting up a different location, but still hammering down on those same exercises. aside from the unusual tightness, i felt good and pushed through my routine with less difficulty

day 811 – teammates tattle tale

when things feel slightly improved i feel like i can be normal again but in reality i am far from it. shouldn’t be playing but here i am in full gear trying to give it a go even though a dozen people didn’t approve of it and tried to drag me off the court. it’s a chance i wanted to take because i wanted to see what state my knee is in and what is it capable of, if anything. what can i say, i live on the edge with a life full of high risks
