day 2028 – snatch techniques

it’s a jam packed statutory holiday that started with olympic lifting session, followed by work, then tutor and finished off coaching poomsae training. snatching with lower weights to focus on technique. i must say my snatches felt real good today, as did my shoulder. as for front squats, upped the weight for the fourth consecutive week and it felt super heavy. still felt good to have moved up and closer to bodyweight. lifting session was fun, however, when i was at work and tutor i started to feel something was coming on. towards the end of the day, i feel as if i had caught a cold

day 956 – skating

image

my lifestyle is best suited for crazy packed days, that’s just the way i like it. a fun sunday afternoon skate between several hours of teaching and couple hours of poomsae training to make my day complete. no better way to spend my first day back after reactivating my leg, than to go out all with leg intensive activities. i can feel my legs have gotten weaker through the stretch of interrupted physical life. it doesn’t help being sluggish after a pubnight and losing an hour from daylight savings

day 787 – food for one

sashimi is my type of food for the sick. not feeling well enough to do anything this evening, with sore throat feeling tired and weak. useless me couldn’t go gym, couldn’t go tennis, couldn’t go taekwondo, couldn’t go out for dinner. so here’s takeout my mom ordered, just the way i like it. hope i am not on the verge of getting sick cause i have a jam packed week next week. calling it an early night and hope magic happens overnight. peace out at 9:30pm

day 770 – summer wrap up

this was actually from yesterday night, marking the end summer vacation with the sweetness of shaved ice. icepik was jam packed tonight i guess many people had the same idea for closing out a good summer. the weather was cold, but my stomach is feeling happy after some heart warming pho and frozen dessert. i haven’t eaten so much in such a long time, unfortunately i don’t think my body thinks that’s a good thing
